Tuxedo Pharmacy is the best my family has had the privilege to use. They are quick, efficient and careful with our prescriptions. You can depend upon the pharmacist to cross check and initiate refill calls with physicians, and for the prescription to be ready when you arrive. They have even made special trips to suppliers to get unusual medications when needed immediately. I cannot praise their customer service enough. And, yes, their boutique is excellent, and frequently makes gift buying easy. Cathy F.

This is not you run of the mill pharmacy it’s more like a boutique and plan on spending your cash if you come. Soaps, gift cards, high end jammies, books, key chains and leather gloves are all available. Even some really nice decorations for the holidays are sold here, I did mention they are a pharmacy right?

Tuxedo has an amazing selection of both health & beauty supplies as well as gifts and«stuff.» I don’t know what else to call it — it’s half pharmacy and half gift shop. I love the fact that they are locally owned and it’s a boutique pharmacy experience. I haven’t had to have any prescriptions filled there, but you can tell just by the chorus of hello’s and welcome’s that greet you when you walk in the door that this is totally the kind of place where you could ask the pharmacist about possible interactions or what he would recommend and you’ll get tons of feedback from him/her. On the other hand, do expect to pay a premium for this level of service. For over the counter items, their prices are going to be a little higher than what you’d pay at CVS or Walgreen’s. So I’d save a trip to Tuxedo for specialty or hard-to-find items. Or, if I was in the neighborhood and needed a last-minute gift, I’d totally swing in. Half the store space is devoted to jewelry, collectables, and fancy bath products.
