Uptown Package Store

I’m definitely not going to write a storybook like normal, just know that this place serves its purpose! To sell alcohol. Being an visitor I had actually stumbled upon this place after researching food in the area! Come to find out this liquor store was right in the same parking lot! Talk about good luck right! Although they are a wee bit over priced. Example: the crown royal Apple is about $ 22.99 at Walmart and they’ve decided to charge $ 28.99! I think if your in the need of grabbing some alcohol or beer this very well could be a «go-​to» store for locals!

Uptown Package on Pleasantdale is one of my «go-​to» liquor stores because it’s fairly easy for me to get to and the owners are always friendly and willing to help should you have any questions at all. In fact, they did a perfect job at handling a large order I placed for my sister’s engagement party a few years ago. As such, if you need something that isn’t in the store, they can probably get it for you if you ask and can wait a few days.
As another reviewer noted, Uptown Package is neither in the best or worst area of town, and near closing time, there usually is an off-​duty cop there. That’s a good thing, as it’s no mystery that these sort of establishments are often ripe targets for would-​be thieves.
The liquor selection is pretty strong. If you want it, they probably have it. The wine selection is a bit more limited. The basics are there, but if you’re looking for some fancy-​schmancy Bordeaux you may need to look elsewhere. The beer selection is pretty standard, too. It’s more or less what you’d find at the grocery store. If you want a wide swath of choices of beer and wine, Tower Liquor is probably going to be your best bet.
Sometimes you just continue to patronize a store because the staff is friendly, does a solid job and makes doing business with them a pleasure. That’s why I give Uptown Package four stars.

This is always a decent establishment to buy inebriated decision juice. I’ve never had any issues. They are very personable and get you in and out. I’ll be back to buy drunk juice more often. Oh yeah… They sell liquor LOL

This liquor store is pretty big and very conveniently placed right off ²⁸⁵⁄₈₅ on Pleasantdale Road. One of the 2 owners are here whenever I come. I’m always here, too. not that I’m an alcoholic or anything, but I love a good bottle of wine and their wind selection is everything you want plus more!
There are 2 other liquor stores close to this location and I rarely go there although, they’re closer to my house. After a certain time of night, there’s also a police officer in here for safety measures. It isn’t in the best nor worst area, but the selection is so great you have to make the trip.
I’ll continue to shop here while the 2 owners still work here. They’re so personable and friendly they make the experience that much better.

Pretty good selection of liquor. They have lots of different brands and prices are fair. The cashiers are helpful and friendly too. They remember a face… well you know an unforgettable face like mine of course. At night they have an armed security guard or police officer, I’m not exactly sure, that is if you’re concerned about safety.
