Venetian Room

Working with Joseph and Phil at the Venetian Room, as well as the amazing staff from the chefs to the servers at our reception, was the most incredible experience. Joseph provided a professionalism and expertise that I desperately needed as I took on the task of planning my own wedding. He always responded to my e-​mails and calls, was positive and enthusiastic, and made me feel majorly important. Joseph kept me up to speed with deadlines and details, but not in a way that felt intrusive or bossy.
Phil assisted on the day of my wedding and he is incredible. He was upbeat, kind, and helpful. I am so lucky to have had him there!
This venue is SPECTACULAR as well. It has a historic but glamorous feel — the place decorates itself! There was plenty of room and then some for all 85 of our guests. AV/​DJ folks will have no problem here. The sound quality was awesome!
There are a ton of hotels and great sight-​seeing touristy options for out of town guests near the venue, as well.
And the food… holy cow. It was AMAZING! I’ve had several guests at my wedding reach out to get the name and contact info of the caterer. Everyone loved the food and we were so happy to be able to take a to-​go box home with us. Trust me, after a night of drinking and dancing non-​stop, getting to snack on some leftover mac and cheese was a real treat!
The Venetian Room is a priceless option for anyone wanting an in-​town wedding. The value couldn’t be beat, and my only regret is that I can’t marry my husband over and over again just to work with the Venetian Room team again! –Megan

If you are looking for a Beautiful venue, in the city that is affordable, has Great food, wonderful customer service, and the most beautiful rotunda you have ever seen. look no further!
I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Venetian room after looking at several different facilities, I just knew this was the one. I started planning my wedding two years ago and I found this venue after a google search. My fiancé and I quickly made an appointment and we fell in love immediately. Not only with the venue but with their awesome event planner Joseph Gatlin. Joseph was very informative and open to all my ideas from the start. Even though we booked the venue way ahead of time Joseph always answered my questions right up until our event day. He responded almost immediately to my emails and was willing to work with all my vendors I hired. Joseph is very detailed, as myself, so it was a pleasure to work with him.
The food was catered by Glorious Events and I must say of all the weddings I’ve been to, I have never heard a response as positive as I have with my own wedding. Not to be bias but the food was THE BOMB! We picked the crab cake and beef sliders for the cocktail hour and for dinner we chose Salmon, Stuffed Pork Chop and Baked chicken, Mash potatoes, and mac and cheese and salad with dressing that was soooooooo good!
Parking is in the Lot right across the street, I advised all my guest to arrive early because there was an event going on as well as construction and they did.
I know people say that no wedding is ever perfect but I am here to say that my wedding was thee most perfect day ever! My day of Coordinator, Autum was on point. She worked with my personal assistant (who was a good friend of mine) and made sure that everything went according to plan, and even when things needed to be handled, she handled it without delay.
Thank you Joseph, Autum and the Venetian Room staff for everything!
I wish I could have my wedding here every weekend! LOL

I am so pleased to post my recent experience at the Venetian Room. I hosted a fundraiser for the Melvin Jones Foundation focused on its newest initiative Camp Strand, a camp for children and adolescents with alopecia areata. The Venetian Room is a beautiful venue with an elegant touch. The foundation received many positive responses to the event itself as well as the music and catered selections. The fundraiser was great and would not have been a success without the help of Joseph Gatlin, Event Sales Manager. Joseph was so awesome and a joy to work with. He was very helpful in shaping the entire event and his professional touch was more than appreciated by all. He responds expeditiously to inquiries and he can quickly resolve unforeseen issues that may arise, all in which makes a client feel at ease. He offered great suggestions and worked tirelessly to insure the event was a success. Thank you Joseph! Please check out this fabulous place. They also host a networking event on the 2^nd Thursday of the month which you can catch a glimpse of the venue while making new connections. I look forward to patronizing this venue in the future.

Went here with my bf to a murder mystery dinner. The entrance foyer was beautiful. The actual ballroom was also beautiful, especially the ceiling. Ceilings are super tall. The only downside is that it has a very run-​down appeal to it. I think it’s the old light fixtures that make it look that way. I thought it was nice, but not too impressed with the architecture.
