This is absolutely my favorite vegan spot in the city and surrounding areas. The food will hook you after your first visit. And the owners I love and drive 45 minutes at least once a week to eat here.

This was my first time at this restaurant and my first time having a vegan meal. It was great. Big portions and very tasty. I will definitely go again.

Pretty good food! The fries are great! The philly was good also. The bbq jackfruit sandwich is a good option also. I just hope they get some gluten free buns in the near future. They use those kroger bakery buns. Kind of defeats the purpose of eating healthy. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. When i came for the first time, I engaged in great conversation with some other customers. Barbershop kind of feel. By far, one of the best vegan restaurants in Atlanta for sure.

Awesome little spot. The location is not a problem for me. The staff is friendly and helpful! My partner and I both had a buffalo cauliflower sandwich with vegan ranch(wow yum). My favorite part is that they have a section for foods that have soy and foods that do not, that is AWESOME and important to me!

I’ve recently began eating a Vegan diet. As a former meat eater, occasionally, I have a taste for seafood, chicken, beef, etc. I tried a shrimp po boy today from them and it was kind of amazing. My girlfriend got a Philly cheesesteak and it was pretty good as well. I will definitely be coming back… just wish they had hot wings!

Food is awesome! Our family of 5 had a couple of sandwiches, Tacos, and some cheese sticks. My favorite sandwich was the fish less po boy. It was the fish less protein from stores but breaded and made in a way that’s so worth going here to get. The dill fries where really good as well. Only mild complaint was the cheese sticks. A little bit less breading. Other then that it was awesome. If your in the Atlanta for good for your mood, vegan food. definitely try this place.

We had the falafel with sweet potato fries and tacos with fried cauliflower. The falafel had an amazing sauce –plenty of spice, a little tang and deliciously creamy. The sweet potato fries were excellent. The tacos were great too. They came with chunks of fresh tomato, kale, salsa and a vegan«taco meat» mixture in a hard corn shell. The fried cauliflower was the only thing I wasn’t crazy about. It was a huge serving and came with spicy mayo but the breading, though thin, was just a bit much for me. I would have preffered unbreaded fried cauliflower(I’ve had this in Mediterranean restaurants). The service was slow because it’s just one person, but we were happy to wait.

Southwest Atlanta has been devoid of decent restaurant/eateries for so long now its a shame. Now, though, we have a good one. Viva La Vegan. I went to eat here the other day and was blown away. I had the califlower po’ boy sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was huge and seasoned perfectly. It had kind of like a spicy ranch type of sauce on it and i loved it. Sweet potato fries were awesome. The place is in a sketchy part of town and is in a ghetto shopping strip type mall. Its not clean inside but they did get a 100, an A, on their health rating from the health department so that was nice to see. I live about 2 minutes from this restaurant and will definitely be going back.

Yes, this place IS located in the«hood», but do not let the area deter you! It is sandwiched between a corner store and another store by the name of Big Daddy’s Supermarket at a strip mall. So of course… this place is certainly considered a hole-in-the-wall, but man… it is a gem, indeed! This was my first time coming, so of course, I asked a lot of questions regarding their menu items. The owners were so accommodating with my requests, and patient! The customer service is excellent. I ended up having their popular Philly Cheesesteak(replaced the wheat bun for a tortilla wrap, because I’m not the biggest fan of bread), and it was sooooo good. The jackfruit(which are the Philly«cheesesteak» contents) was seasoned to perfection and tasted like meat. The owner told me that it is similar to the taste of pulled pork, but since I don’t eat pork, I took his word for it, lol. But wow! I was pleasantly surprised. I also had a side of sweet potato fries, which were also good. It was a lot of food, so I did take some to go. Oh!!! And MAKESURE that you pick up some Vegan Dream donuts. 2 for $ 5! They were delicious. I went ahead and chose the powdered cinnamon variety, and was in heaven. I will definitely come back here again! Viva La Vegan has made me very happy!

I drove to this place in the hood(no exaggeration) after reading all the amazing reviews of this place. I ordered the most raved item — Philly sandwich with fried cauliflowers. I do like the texture of the Philly but not necessarily the flavor. I think it’s lacking quite a bit on the flavor — I can only taste the salt. The cauliflower is good but I can make a healthier one by baking some at home. It’s also quite bland without the sauce. I guess I must had really high expectations for this place. I support the vegan restaurant business that’s why I gave it a 3 star. FYI, the food is NOT cheap — a Philly + cauliflowers cost $ 17.28. The portion is not huge. I finished all within 15mins. I consider that overpriced considering the ingredients, location/rent.

Soooo… I simply love the food here. Everyday food with a vegan flare. My daughter loved the vegan donuts so much she ate mine lol! The non-fish sandwich was AMAZING! The Philly was great but it’s got a huge kick(for me) so I stayed away from that… lol! Just a personal preference. Drive 30 minutes and more than 20 miles to check this place out and it was well worth the drive… I will frequent weekly. Great find for a food lovin vegan!

Point blank… If you are vegan, come to this place for food. They have a ton of non soy items as well as some soy based foods. Everything is cooked fresh to order. Come hungry! The neighborhood is a little seedy, but any vegan looking for good food won’t mind. Keep your eyes peeled, it’s a little hard to spot from the road. Parking is fine. There is rarely a line to wait to order. Just don’t go I a rush. As I said, they make your food fresh to order. It takes a little time to get everything cooked. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful with any questions about the menu.

Very impressed with the Chickin ‘n waffles. The waffle was amazing. I’m floored that it is vegan. Texture and taste is just like a normal waffle with eggs and milk. Staff very friendly and polite. I’d definitely go back! Advice: the menu is a white board and a bit difficult to take in, but they do have a menu on their website that seemed to include most everything. If first time visiting, might want to check that menu first.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm! I second, third, fouth and fifth about all the wonderful things that have been said about this place pertaining to their food and the customer service. On my new found journey as a vegetarian, this resturant came right on time! Not only was the food great, I’ve met wonderful people while there; kindred spirits! On to the food, I have had the jackfruit philly, mock salmon burger and the buffalo fried cauliflour. Can we say delicious! I would have to say the that mock salmon is my favorite! I’ve been twice this month. During my first visit, I called to find out what time they closed and was informed 9pm and I called at 8:40pm. I was encouraged to come in and upon my arrival, I was asked if I was the one that called. My bf was not into trying this spot and stated that he would get something else but thank goodness he tried it. This is how I discovered that I would have the mock salmon on my next visit. You ever pay for something and wasn’t quite satisfied or that it did not deserve your money, you won’t get that here! Both times I ate in, which may make some people feel uneasy due to the location. I was a bit put off by the location but I am so glad that I did try it! As good as the food is, I hope that they are not only able to keep that location but branch out as well. The cook has come out to make sure that I enjoy my food and I appreciate that. The food is cooked to order so be patient, it’s worth it!

Food was absolutely amazing tonight. We ordered the chick n sandwich and philly with a side of sweet potato fries. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner this evening. The owner is awesome and we even met his sister whom makes the sweets. We will be back! Okay here’s the update on our return visit last Saturday night. We ordered the Shrimp Po Boy, Jackfruit BBQ sandwich and philly. We also tried one of the cinnamon bun desserts with almonds and some other ingredients I don’t remember, but it was delicious!

I really want to give this restaurant 5 stars because the food is really amazing. However, if you come during a busy time there will be somewhat of a wait. But I don’t mind waiting for food with the reputation of being Vegan and/or Organic. I expect great things from this place and my favorite dish so far is the Falafel with salad.

I’m a recent vegetarian and I wanted to try something different. So glad I found this place. It’s located in a plaza with a grocery store and a convenience store. The guy that was working there was extremely nice and helpful.(This was my 1st vegan meal so i was quite nervous). I ordered the chili fries. They took about 10 minutes. They were amazingggg! The portion size was big as well! He has a very extensive menu so I’m looking forward to going back & seeing what else i can dig into.

On 10⁄16 I had the chick-n and waffles. It was so great! The syrup was light and tasted awesome. Today, I had the BBQ sandwich and fries. It was tasty and rich with flavor. Customer service is always great and timely.
