Wendy’s on Boulevard near the intersection of Monroe/Blvd. & Ponce. Have been a big fan of Wendy’s for years. Still am a fan. However, I would rather starve than spend a dime at THIS Wendy’s ever again. The staff is mentally incompetent. I have given them three chances. Twice they put pickles & mustard on my burger when I specifically said no pickles, no mustard, no mayo… but this last visit was the final straw. Ordered. Nuggets & a cheese baked potato with a coke. Glided my way up to the window. Paid. She then gave me my coke, no straw & asked me to pull forward and someone would come out with my food. I waited. The man behind me pulled into a parking spot. He was obviously told to wait as well. I waited. I got hit on by two boys at least 10 years my junior. I waited. I got asked for money from a bum. Rolled up my window & waited some more. After 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes, I turned my car off and went inside. I cut the line and informed the woman working the counter that I, and I believe another gentleman in the parking lot were waiting on the food we ordered at the drive thru over 10 minutes. No apology, she just slides a bag of burgers in front of me… «these are not mine, I had nuggets & a cheese baked potato.» She slides a bag with two baked potatoes in front of me. «I only need one of these, with cheese, and nuggets.» She goes to the back, comes back with the right order, puts it on the counter and walks away before I can even check the bag. There was no sweet & sour sauce. I wait for her to return. She slowly walks back to the counter«sweet & sour sauce please.» She gives me one, without any remorse for their inability to do their jobs and the 15+ minutes I had to endure to get some FAST food. I feel worse that the man behind me waited until I came out with my food to head inside in retreat of his. Do yourself a favor & consider the McDonald’s, Subway, Taco Bell, Burger King, or KFC that are within 1 – 3 blocks of this Wendy’s. Unless you enjoy your time being sucked away by idiots.
