Windsor At Midtown

I have recently moved here and everyone has made the transition of moving from out of state as smooth as can be on their part. There are times with moving that I almost feel like I’m losing my head. I even left my iPhone in the Cyber Café. A tenant was nice enough to turn it into the office and Chris emailed me. He had it fully charged when I came to pick it up. Bri has stayed late (of course not too late) in the leasing office when my movers were «finally» delivering my household goods (that’s another story). The location is wonderful. Great restaurants, green space nearby in Piedmont park where I run, there is even an on sight exercise room. The rooms and apts. are spacious for the midtown area. Location is the best. It’s in walking distance from so many places. I am totally happy with my choice.

PROS:
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, the property is in the heart of midtown. There are ample walking/​riding options.
The staff is awesome, always available and helpful
Plenty of parking for residents and guests
Dog park
Haven’t had any noise issues.
CONS:
The elevators are excruciatingly slow. Theres no way an elevator ride for a 5 story building should be over a minute.
I could look past the elevator ride and just use the stairs but… The stairs aren’t accessible on the 2^nd story parking deck.
Expensive, I’ve never had to pay a security deposit (neither has my roommate) and they had us pay $ 2000

I’ve lived here at the Windsor at Midtown for the past year and LOVE IT. It has a fantastic location near all the happenings around midtown plus Piedmont Park is ½ block away. The staff is beyond helpful making sure everything about your apartment is how you like it, and every time I submitted a maintenance request it was fixed within 3 hours. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Windsor at Midtown and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to live in Midtown.

I am writing this review to praise the property manager on a very professional, speedy, and kind resolution on an issue I had with my lease. Anna is in charge of the office at the Windsor and she was a pleasure to work with!

Location makes this apartment complex! Right next to Piedmont Park & walking distance to lots of great restaurants & bars.
Lived in a 2-​bedroom apartment last summer. It was well designed, I especially loved the huge walk-​in closets & open kitchen. It’s a little too cookie-​cutter, but that is the norm with these sort of complexes.
Pool is small. Same with the workout room & TV didn’t always work, but still nice to have. Parking is easy, but costs extra for a monthly spot. Visitor parking never seemed to fill up.
They have free bikes, dvds & books you can borrow. Nice perks. They also have resident parties every now & then, pretty cool BBQ event last summer.
Overall, I enjoyed my summer at the Windsor. We actually looked into living there long-​term upon our move back to Atlanta, but a huge rise in prices kept us away. Rent is several hundred dollars more expensive. There are also a lot of extra fees, like parking + move-​in + pet + no laundry facilities so you can pay like $ 35/​month to rent them. There are definitely cheaper options in this area if you are willing to look. If you don’t have the time or just want the ease of apartment-​complex living, the Windsor is a safe, albeit pricey choice.
