Great spin classes with Jarvis. Good yoga classes too. I live out of state but am in atlanta 6+ times per year. I keep a membership

The staff is super friendly and attentive, they even remember my name eventhough I’m not here as often as I should be coming. They have great work out classes, gym (if I have no idea what I’m doing someone is there to assist), basketball court and a pool. I’ve even attended a health fair here. I love that it is really about community and no one bothers me while I’m working out, this is a plus… really you trying to get my number at the gym while I’m out of breath, hair all over my head and sweating like crazy, this happens at other gyms. Thanks YMCA for making me feel comfortable and get my work out on.

I’ve moved around a lot but ive always kept my YMCA membership and this one has its ups and downs but mostly good enough to get the job done
Staff is friendly
Never had to wait to use a treadmill or elliptical
Classes are rarely ever full
Missing a squat bar/​rack :(
Machines are clean and staff is always there to clean
Need to update the locker rooms but currently they are renovating the adult locker rooms so I’ll keep my finger’s crossed

This is such a welcome change from Club LA Fitness. The machines at this location are new, there’s always enough space to workout. Not to mention that there are several basketball hoops to shoot around! I’ll break it down for you:
1. Quiet location
2. Plenty of machines
3. Indoor track
4. Childcare
5. TVs on all treadmills and bicycles so YOU can choose what you want to watch (Ladies, that means you don’t have to watch SportsCenter!)
6. Hardwood floors for dance classes.
7. Friendly staff
But, the best part has to be that you can workout without being hounded by personal trainers (although I do think they offer them), horny men pumped up with too much testosterone, or worrying about the safety of your vehicle.
BONUS: You can bring a companion to work out with you so that they can test out the facility as well.
