Food is decent, ice cream creations are delicious. Easy access and parking, good food selection for fast food. Will go back.

This place is perfect for a light snack/meal followed by a hearty portion of ice cream, banana split or a milk shake. For ice creams and milk shakes this is the real deal. They dont have a plethora of options, but what they serve is pretty damn good. Parking is ample if you are driving or its just a hop skip away from Lindbergh marta station. I especially like their Chilly dog. one chilly dog and one milk shake does the deal for me. I have been to this place numerous times in the past few years. Old is gold.

The Best MILKSHAKESIN Atlanta and some of the lowest costing too!!! It places is great and one of the oldest surviving landmarks of the 1950s that seem everything around change but it is still standing. The food is cooked an drinking are still made the way they were when they first opened. I love this place great food for a low cost and great milkshakes to choose from!!!

The best ice cream in the town Period. Zesto is right around where I live and they have the best ice creams and also some of the best items for the prices. The ice creams are huge and are only about 2 – 3 $ a serving. They have a cute outdoor seating from where you will be able to see the Downtown views and is hopelessly romantic.

First time here. Had a Fat Boy hamburger which was delicious. Tasted like a Big Mac, but way better. Also, had the bacon chili cheese dog. This reminded me of a Varsity chili dog. The hidden gen, the Hamburger Deluxe. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I recommend this place for the great food! 5 Stars!

Meh, that is exactly how I feel about Zesto. My parents were on my side of town and wanted Dairy Queen so since there isn’t one super close we decided to try something new. I really wanted to like Zesto since it is really close to my apartment but I just couldn’t. I, also, can’t comment on any of the food since we didn’t try any and only came for ice cream. The service was that of a fast food place… blah. The female employee didn’t really have any personality and didn’t look thrilled to be there. My dad and I both order arctic swirls and my mom got a strawberry sundae. I think we all felt the same way about each thing. It wasn’t terrible but who could mess up ice cream? It wasn’t anything great either though. My arctic swirl was the toffee coffee and it lacked flavor. I don’t know if they didn’t put enough toffee in it or if it always taste blah but it sure didn’t taste like coffee or much toffee. I may give Zesto another shot if I am in the mood for ice cream and don’t want to go far but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

It was so good we went twice in one day! Had lunch with my sweetie, steak burgers with onion rings and crinkle fries. Very delicious! Then later on we came back for the artic swirl banana split… all fresh ingredients, very delicious once again! We found our new go-to spot! Under $ 10 meals, and they have daily specials. Burritos look amazing!

Zesto is a great lunch spot offering very unhealthy and delicious meals. With some creativity you can eat healthy here. Nice staff, clean, great vibe inside.

The milkshake and the heart attack-inspired menu isn’t half bad! Not my cup of tea, but an alright little place. I only wish that had some fresher, healthier options, but it’s a milkshake and fried food place, so I get it. Definitely a good place for kids, though.

Love Zesto. The food is always delish, and the atmosphere is pure 1950’s diner. There are kids’ meals, the weird burritos, and specials 7 days a week. Get the tots and a swirl cone; you won’t regret it!

I’ve passed this one a gazillion times, but first visit. May become my new fav for a fast lunch! Burgers, turkey burger, dogs, wings, gyros, burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadilla… and we haven’t even gotten to dessert! Had the fish burrito on recommendation from some lady standing there — delish! The tilapia is blackened and they put some sort of red slaw on there. Seriously good. Served with chips and salsa, which was surprisingly good. Do get there before noon if going for lunch — I was planning on getting ice cream on my way out, but the line was out the door by the time I walked out at 12:15. As for the ambiance — it is definitely retro, but good retro, not run-down retro.

Standard. Ok. Yummy hot dog. Quite old and nostalgic. Odd crowd. Yuppie neighborhood. Watched the cashier handle money with no gloves, sweep the floor with no gloves, then go to wrap my food with no gloves and no hand washing when I asked for a bag to take my unfinished food home in. Yuck, and no thanks. She seemed a bit offended when I pointed out that she had been cleaning and taking money and was now preparing to be near my food without washing her hands. She was nice, though.

MYFIRSTTIME! AND I DIDN’T EVENGETICECREAAAAM – gotta save a little something for my next visit ;) Their menu is HUGE with tacos, burritos, burgers, chicken, wings, Mediterranean/gryo, salads, hot dogs, tots, onion rings, and of course all things ice cream(shakes, cones, floats, banana splits, sundaes, malts, and the list goes on and on). Here’s what we had today: –foot long hot dog: topped with chili and coleslaw. the wiener was a little too mealy and… um. soft…but the chili and coleslaw added good flavor –buffalo chicken quesadilla: flavorful if not a little too salty, but melty cheese, chicken, and hot sauce! and next time… allllll the ice cream for a more in-depth review!

Good fast food! I had the brown crown the other day. So good! Like old school mcdonalds cone! The gyros are great too. I always get mine with fries coke. So good! It’s close and convenient. Not going here expecting great service. It gets the job done though which is good in my belly

Zesto has been in Atlanta for a *long* time. It used to be a sizable nationwide chain of drive-in restaurants, but its numbers have severely dwindled over the decades. Now, only a handful remain. They aren’t so much drive-ins anymore, but rather old fast food restaurants. This location on Piedmont Rd. is currently the oldest surviving Zesto in Atlanta — since 1955 according to a sign inside the restaurant(the Zesto brand was founded in the 1940s). Other popular locations can be found on Ponce De Leon and in Little Five Points. Zesto is known for its ice cream and that’s all I’ve ever had at a Zesto. The company originally competed against Dairy Queen and, like DQ, expanded its menu to serve burgers and hot dogs. The double-patty«Chubby Decker» is their Big Mac/Whopper equivalent. They also serve tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. All the Zestos I’ve been to or seen in Atlanta look old and worn down. This Piedmont location is no exception. It does have an old school 1950s drive-in/diner look and feel, which is kind of neat, but also makes it feel extremely dated. It resembles a long lost brother of Dairy Queen. Small booths and chairs, even some counter seating. Relive the 1950s by ordering a milkshake and sipping on it at the counter. There is fenced-in outdoor seating and a small TV inside for your viewing pleasure. Menus, with helpful pictures, are posted on the wall behind and next to the ordering counter. When it comes to ice cream, all the classic American favorites are there from simple cones/cups to sundaes and banana splits. The ice cream is soft-served out of machines. The Arctic Swirls($ 3.35 each) are damn good. Smooth, creamy, and utterly satisfying. They’re essentially the same as the DQ Blizzard or McDonald’s McFlurry. Unlike the latter, Zesto’s Arctic Swirls do not come in different sizes. However, there are more flavor options such as Oreo, Snickers, M&M’S, Butterfinger, Mint Oreo, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. My favorite: Oreo. Service is good. Shout-out to Vernitha. If you live in Atlanta and have never been to a Zesto, you should go at least once. Who knows how much longer they will be around?

I’ve been here several times, as it’s right around the corner from me. The food is always made to order so it’s hot. The foot long chili dog is really good(has coleslaw on top of it), along with the chubby decker. I’ve tried a burrito once, and it’s a pretty big size. Two meals for me. Try the onion rings and if you like crinkle fries they serve them here. For ice cream, I usually get a shake(banana or peach) or a artic swirl.(mint Oreo, banana split) Good service, prices are affordable. Check out their daily specials.

OK for an occasional burger, onion rings and a shake or ice cream for desert. The food is very greasy though. You’ve been warned.

The buffalo chicken quesadila and the peach sundae are great! The atmosphere screams 1950s-style diner/laundromat.
