Me and 5 of my girlfriends ate here this past Friday night. Food was delicious! Everything from salad, to pizza, to scallops, to pasta, and dessert were tried and no complaints. Jason was an exceptional waiter, after all he had 6 loud women to deal with! I frequent EI several times throughout the year and I will be going back.

Pescara proved to be a major disappointment when we arrived for the reservation we had confirmed through Unilocal, only to find the restaurant was closed. This was to be a birthday dinner for a very good friend of ours. I received 4 emails confirming the reservation, including one 1 hour before the scheduled time for our reservation.

Great food, great wait staff and cute little venue! So good that we realized we forgot our leftovers half way home and seriously contemplated driving back for them! I had the lobster lasagna and my husband had the meatloaf… both delicious

Excellent dinner! November on the patio and 70 degrees. Had the house Chardonnay — buttery and delicious! Dinner was the prawns and polenta — a new twist with mushrooms, butternut squash, sweet onions with a lobster saffron sauce. It was amazing!

The dishes are unusual and delicious. Make sure to end your meal with a cup of coffee and any one of the desserts. We had to try multiple ones because we couldn’t decide on just one. The staff is knowledgeable and will help make it an evening to enjoy!

Great place with wonderful outdoor seating on a Real Porch! Good drinks, great appetizers, wonderful homemade pasta. Will definitely visit again when I am back at the beach.

Oh wow, was Sis right that I would love this place! It’s pretty new to Atlantic Beach. We were told they moved the second oldest house on the island to this location and fixed it up for this fabulous restaurant. They should have moved the LARGEST house on the island for this restaurant, as the only thing wrong with it is if you can’t get in when you want to. And we came close to not getting in on this Labor Day Sunday evening. Having been told that they don’t take reservations for less than 8 people, Sis had been a bit frustrated by that in the past and wasn’t happy when there were booked tables all around that had nobody in them, and we would have liked to be. BUT, the manager was kind enough to come up with a solution for us. And a couple at the bar was nice enough to move down a couple seats so that the five of us could plop down at the end of the bar and have a fabulous time. Within no time, I was happily sipping a refreshing Aperol Spritz made of Prosecco, Aperol(like a light Campari so not sweet) with soda and orange. They helped Husband find a beer he liked, and brought out some bread with a good herb butter . Food didn’t take long to come out. One gal had a great Tuscan Salad and a Veggie Pizza. Two of us got the Squid Ink Fettuccini with Lobster, Littleneck Clams, Octopus, Pancetta, Arugula with an Arrabbiata Sauce. Sis got the Clam Spaghetti Carbonara. They make their own pastas and you can sure tell! Husband also wisely ordered… the Pizza Carne. This had house-made sausage, salami, proscuitto, calabrian chili, ricotta salata, mozzarella, fresh herbs & chili oil. YES, it was as fabulous as it sounds! All of this was! Four of us even took some back to the condo, which made for a great breakfast.(doesn’t everyone eat leftover squid ink pasta for breakfast at the beach?) As if all that wasn’t good enough, they make a Limoncello Tiramisu. OMG! It’s a good size portion, but so light and it’s topped with a meringue. Sigh. Service was just as fantastic as the food & drinks. Everybody is friendly and enthusiastic about the fine product they are putting out. If there is any catch to the place(besides being too small) is that because it is in the second oldest building on the island, there is no central air. They do have a strong window unit by the bar which kept us perfectly comfortable, and they also have outside seating. As for prices. All of us feel they are beyond reasonable for the quality! Husband & I had pizza, pasta and dessert plus a drink each for just $ 59(before tip). Pescara, if the beach doesn’t embrace you properly, please move inland to Raleigh and we will make sure you are appreciated!

This was our 1st visit. We live in EI& decided to stop in for an early dinner this past Wednesday. Staff was friendly and professional. Food was very good but not what I expected. I ordered the ravioli and got a dish that the waiter confirmed was the dish I ordered but they do it differently. It was truly delicious nonetheless. The have a nice covered deck/porch area.

Pescara is a new Italian restaurant on the circle in Atlantic Beach, NC that just opened about 6 to 8 weeks ago. We were seated right away without a reservation, but I would recommend a reservation, especially on the weekends. They have both indoor seating and outdoor seating on the covered porch. They have a nice variety on the menu, including pizza, salads, pasta, and full sized entrée’s. My glazed pork tenderloin was very good. My wife got a seafood special that she thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent and I think they have a full bar. The only negative is that the noise level is high, but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. I will definitely return.

Our waitress was not very knowledgable about the menu which is important for such a restaurant as pescara. The food was sub par. Not sure why the spaghetti sauce was spicy. They messed up our check and made it seem like it was our fault. Not worth the cost at all. Not impressed. Still glad that the circle is on the up and up with some nice restaurants. Next step is a couple more good bars!

Excellent new restaurant, having just opened I was very impressed. The staff was very attentive and all of the well prepared courses arrived timely. Highly recommend the pizza for a light meal. Great wine selection also.
