I went to a wedding there and it was okay. The beach was nice. The inside was really nice. The food was okay. Would I recommend for a wedding? No, only the reception. AS for having a wedding in the sand… NO, it was too much hassle to get through pass all of the beachgoers… you had to walk through a row of beach houses to get where you had to go… I would have a party there. The parking was plenty. The photographer was too rushed and impatient.

I wish you can give this 0 stars. My experience with Richie was good, then we booked signed and paid. After that it was AWFUL. They ran out of salmon and some one at my bridal party ordered it. they came back with the option of asparagus for her… Envelopes were lost and Richie just rushed me off the phone and i never heard back from them again. I would never recommend… my guest had fun because i made sure they did the staff took pictures in my photobooth when they should have been working the bridal attendant was no where to be found. the 3 bridal suites were comepletely useless because noone had access to them… NOTEVENMETHEBRIDE… huge disappointment.

Wanted to bring my niece there to look for her Sweet 16. Not open for appointments on COLUMBUSDAY. All the schools are closed. Between Bar Mitzvahs and Sweet 16’s they really missed the boat… It is our only day to go around to places. You snooze — you loose. We are going to 4 other places — I’m sure we’ll find«the one» — it just won’t be in Atlantic Beach. Bad business practice

As I search far and wide for wedding reception halls, I stumble upon the Sands. One early foggy morning and a $ 2 toll bridge later, fiancé and I turned into the parking lot and watched the fog graze the ground, almost horror movie looking. We met with Richie, the manager and super sweet guy who was more than welcoming to us. He gave us a complete tour and let me tell you, this place is HUGE. 3 bridal suites, huge area to host ceremony and separate rooms for cocktail hour and reception. There is even a stage for the DJ to set up for guests to have full access to the dance floor. The Sands is right on the beach and also doubles as a beach club with a restaurant and a pizzeria. The option for an outside wedding is possible. Richie doesn’t really suggest it, but the choice is yours.
