1314 STUDIO Photography

We chose 1314 studio for our engagement photoshoot and we are so glad that we made this choice!
Right from the time we contacted them, they were very prompt and very accommodating to our needs.
Our photographer was Khoa and he is great with his work. We especially loved the candid shots he took and looking at the pictures he was able to really catch the perfect emotions.
At the beginning of the shoot we were slightly nervous and camera shy but he made the whole process comfortable, fun and a memorable one.
We received all the pictures within a week of the shoot and everybody who sees them is very impressed with it.
We would def recommend Khoa and 1314 Studio for a professional shoot.

Our photography experience was amazing thanks to Khoa & Emily’s fine work. My fiancé and I are usually clueless on how to pose for the camera, but Khoa & Emily made us both not feel intimidated and learn to love posing for the camera! They guided us in exact posing we need to do and the pictures turned out AMAZING. On top of that they took their time with taking the pictures just right and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It was actually really fun and we didn’t feel exhausted like we did on other photoshoots in the past. When we checked our email a few days later, to our surprise — the photos were ALREADY READY!!! Highly recommend these two All-​Stars!!!

I’m writing this review as a groom in a wedding where 1314 studio were actually hired as photographers. The photographers were very accommodating from the beginning, the wedding day, and even after it. They met us in JC when it suited our schedule, they listened to our ideas, came to the wedding on time, and unobtrusively worked all the time around us. We were also very happy with the way photos turned out. They captured the feel of our wedding: informal and happy.
I would also like to comment on the review that criticizes 1314 meeting effort. They are highly sought after photographers and frankly I don’t think it makes sense for them to invest several hours of their time in a meeting that might not end up in a hire. I think that the photographer’s reply shows how nice they are. That’s life, sometimes you don’t get your first choice and you need to do some more searching and not give people who wish you a happy holiday a single star when you actually haven’t used their service.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately with many wedding planning details Robert and I are in the process of finalizing, along with our work schedules, travelling to Jersey City or Hoboken are a little bit of a stretch for us. Billing a prospective client for a meeting within state was also out of our expectation, since it does not appear to be an industry practice from speaking to and interviewing other photographers.
I understand that you have a busy schedule. I am available after new years. Should your schedule frees up along the time frame mentioned, I am flexible to meet half way over coffee as previously stated in my email. Otherwise, I appreciate your time and effort that you spent in scheduling a meeting with us. We think highly of your work and wish you all the best in your career.

I’m not familiar with any cities in between or knowing where to go. For over 50 weddings, we meet all of our clients in Jersey City and Hoboken, and many have travelled from South Jersey/​Philly region.
Our wedding coverage covers 45 minutes of travel one way, but for meetings, we travel no more than 15 minutes. A local photographer may perhaps fit your schedule better. Thank you for your interest in our photography.

you can easily tell how her attitude toward getting business from clients. usually ppl go out of their way, but sadly this is not the case.
if you have already setup appointment with them. please think twice before you hire them.
