Great seafood selection and wonderful wine list. Their waitstaff is always caring and respectful, trying to do their best for the customers. Halapeno Hamachi, Clams Casino and other delicious appetizers, Chilean Seabass for the main dish — amazing experience!

Some of the best sashimi and New England clam chowda I’ve ate in awhile! My date had the Chilean sea bass which was also perfect. The drink service at the bar could have been a bit faster, but that’s my only complaint here. Can’t wait to come back here.

One of the best meal of my life! The chef came out to see how we liked our meal and our waiter was amazing. Each course was delicious. The sushi was phenomenal too. I will definitely go back when I return to Atlantic city.

Decent but overpriced for what it is. But it’s in the casino so what can you do? The food is pretty fresh but nothing special. Service is mediocre. I believe they have a sale on wednesdays.

Good, but expensive. I’m not sure it is worth the high price, but we wanted a nice meal. The selection of bread was good and the waitress was good at refills at first but after we got the bread it was almost an hour until the entrees came which is a long time to sit around hungry. We were going to flag down the waitress and ask the status but she was no where to be seen. Just when we were going to flag down any server, the food appeared. I had the seafood au gratin, which is a fancy seafood pasta. Worth $ 34. It was good, but I’m not sure. My boyfriend had the seafood combination which came with fries and spinach, though it only lists fries and he doesn’t like spinach. If it had listed it, he would have asked for a possible substitution. Since we didn’t think any of ours came with veggies, we split a side of grilled vegetables, which was a pretty small portion for $ 7. It’s an upscale atmosphere and the food is definitely good, but I found myself not blown away compared to other seafood places.

Easily our favorite place to dine while in AC. Been to Fin 5 – 6 times now and it never disappoints. Went to dinner last night there and had the colossal Shrimp Cocktail which is one of the best cocktails around. A must get if you love shrimp. They’re huge and so tasty. Also got Tako(octopus) sashimi. Amazing. I had the 10 oz broiled lobster tail with a 6 oz filet and honestly I can’t tell you which was better. Both were cooked extremely well. Lobster was so juicy. The filet was as well and the outside was full of crispy/charred goodness while inside cooked to medium perfection. Sides we had were the crab Mac n cheese. This was ridiculously good. The other two sides we had were just ok. Buttermilk ColeSlaw and Creamed spinach with artichokes. No need to get either honestly. I do wish they had other better choices for sides. We had a server named Marisol this time and she was by far the best server we have had there yet in a long line of great servers. Do yourself a favor and go to FIN! Now!

After traveling for hours to Atlantic City, I wanted a nice dinner. I landed at the Tropicana because that’s where the hotel shuttle was going. First place I happened upon was Fin. I ate at the bar. I had the seafood salad. It had great presentation. It was not a hearty dish. Salads rarely are. I would have liked more seafood in the salad. I have found that the closer to the water, the higher the cost of seafood. I’m not complaining about the price though. I enjoyed the meal. I got a glass of house Cabernet to accompany the meal. It was $ 10. And, of course, it was about a third of a glass. I was quite surprised but I felt fancy after seeing the bill. The price of fanciness. It’s a very decent place. I would go again.

We stayed at the Trop last weekend and decided to try Fin for dinner on Saturday night. It turned out to be a good decision. First there’s the quietly elegant décor, and then there’s the spectacular ocean view. All of that wouldn’t be worth much without good food and service though. Fortunately, Fin has both. I started with a crabmeat«pouch» that was wonderful. Fresh. lump crabmeat, and plenty of it, emerging from a puff pastry shell and covered with a delicate sauce. This is an appetizer not to be missed. We saw Point Judith calamari on the menu and my companion had to order it since Point Judith is very close to where we live in RI. Another good choice, tender, lightly breaded, and served with a choice or two dipping sauces — a béchamel, and Thai chili sauce. A nice departure from the usual marinara. My entrée was Seafood Newberg served over fettucini. Plenty of seafood, crabmeat, shrimp, and scallops. It’s a rich and delicious dish. Nikki had a broiled seafood platter. Again, plenty of seafood. She raved about the Jersey flounder, and the dish also included shrimp and scallops. Sadly, there was no room for dessert, although several of the menu choices sounded promising. The service was also first rate, from the extensive explanation of the menu to the astute recommendations. I don’t mind a server with a little bit or personality, and Cheech certainly has that. Bottom line: the next time you’re in Atlantic City and looking for a fine dining experience, give Fin a try.

I’ve eaten here three times with the first being a wonderful experience, the second being good, and the third being just barely okay. Service has always been great but the food has been inconsistent which is why I’m only rating Fin with three stars. I would try it again one more time in hope that they redeem themselves and go back to being an amazing experience.

All around excellent. Great service, crab cake appetizer and soups were fabulous. They even let us sample a couple of the soups(lobster bisque, clam chowder) to help make up our mind. Both were fabulous. The clam chowder is a very hearty meal in itself. The Cape May scallop risotto dish(chef’s signature dish) was so fresh and tender. Loved the broiled seafood combination. Nice variety of fresh, flavorful seafood. The setting was quiet with lovely views of the ocean. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Took a client and our wives for dinner before a concert This place was a total disappointment food was only so so and I’m being kind and service was terrible You can tell it has extremely poor management from the quality of service, and food I don’t mind paying for exceptional food and service, ie bobby flay steak or Wolfgang puck but this place is not even in the same stratosphere

The food, service and views were all great. Our waiter Cheech was awesome and a huge asset to this restaurant. We will definitely be back and he also provided positive feedback on the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Cheech truly loves his job and this place.

3 ½ Stars! Excellent food and view. Service and location was lacking. We made a reservation and were seated promptly, despite being about 15 minutes late. Our party was seated at a table by the window, which had great view, overlooking the ocean. I ordered: Jalapeño Hamachi: I order this often at other restaurants and this was exactly as expected. Very fresh. Pan Seared Scallops over Asparagus Risotto: This was very good! The scallops were excellently cooked, not at all rubbery. The risotto was rich but perfectly portioned It was a great accompaniment for the scallops. I know I ordered dessert, but I cannot remember it, so let that be my commentary on that. The thing that kind of through the meal out of whack was the service. Specifically, we could not get our bill! After asking multiple times for the check, my husband actually had to get up from his seat to physically get it from the server. Then we waited even longer for the change. This is a huge pet peeve of mine! Lastly, though the restaurant is nice, it is located inside the Tropicana Casino which is not nice. Not even close. So I wouldn’t make any plans to do some after dinner gambling here. Plus, we lost! Boo! While the food and atmosphere was good, there are many other restaurants to chose from in AC that are located in much nicer casinos. We probably will not return.

Fabulous food, décor & service. We were there yesterday for my birthday & this place made our list for seafood. The clams casino are a must, DELICIOUS! When making reservations, request a table facing the ocean. It’s expensive, but worth it. We didn’t have any drinks, so I can’t comment on the cost, or if it’s a free pour. The price range of $$$ will definitely skyrocket significantly if drinking.

It was my birthday Sunday, February 22nd and I had dinner at Fin. Beautiful décor, the food was delicious and the staff was super on point. Don’t you just feel so good when people are nice and helpful? I mean, the genuine nice and helpful. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you! & for anyone who doesn’t know what to order, I had the salmon stuffed with lobster and a side of mashed potatoes. Delicious!

Great food but pretty pricey. The place looks really nice. Each entrée is at least $ 30 and up. Eating there can easily be around $ 50 for each person. We got 3 small piece of sashimi and it was $ 8. The dessert was very good and was around $ 10 each. Not a bad place to go if you can afford it.

I’ve only been to Fin once and it was a frustrating experience. I made reservations for Fin during Atlantic City’s Restaurant week for 9PM on a Saturday night. I arrived 15 minutes early to an extremely crowded entrance– it took me 15 minutes just to make my way up to the Maître d’. The Maître d’ was rude and told me that I wouldn’t get a table for at least another 20 minutes– which was not true, because I was not seated until 9:45. Other people in the waiting area shared my frustration; some even had reservations at 8 and were asked to come back at 9. Fin clearly overbooked itself. When I finally made it out the waiting area I was seated right next to the window, which was freezing. After asking to be moved, the waitress gave me a different table(much warmer). The entire wait staff was extremely nice. But after looking around to see that hardly any of the table had been served food, I decided to leave. The manager was very apologetic and tried to give us the food to go, but by 10:15PM I was no longer hungry. The decorations in the restaurant were beautiful, and over all had a great atmosphere. I think that my experience here would have been much better if it were not restaurant week.
