I’ve always get the fhcking fried rice(rice/gravy) and roast pork. But now me and friends barely come and dine menu over price.

The service is fast and friendly. The roast duck was too oily and not crispy. We had to toss the roast duck meal. Do not get any roast duck from this restaurant.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in AC for authentic Chinese food. I’ve been here many times. You can’t go wrong with there menu.

The food is good. Dumplings were more like Gyoza than Chinese dumplings, but good. Beef and Broccoli was very good. Decent amount of beef — you know it’s never as much beef as you’d like and tons of broccoli… Chicken fried rice was good — a little short on the chicken. Yes, I am paying for meat and want it! Boneless ribs were so-so — fatty. They didn’t have ribs with bone which was a bummer. The lady was very nice. She asked and gave me paper plates and plasticware(I would’ve forgot and had a problem). The biggest removal of a star was no delivery. But the food is very good, so a solid 3 stars. 4 stars if they delivered.

Authentic Chinese food, more specifically Cantonese cuisine! I have to admit that the food provided here are very comparable to those available in Chinatown in LA or NY. Great service!

Good but not great. It is really more Vietnamese style cooking, the rice is a bit wetter and runnier than traditional chinese style, likewise the dishes are not spiced in chinese style. Even the name is Vietnamese. Fans of true Chinese food may be disappointed. But in A.C. it’s pretty much the only game in town. On recent trip during lunch hour, waiter gave me main menu, no lunch specials. Had to ask to see menu with specials. Never brought tea, had to ask for water. Ambiance is very nice, which makes it a neighborhood hangout. The only thing stopping this place from being a great Chinese restaurant is great Chinese food.

Authentic Chinese food. Consistent. I have been going here for over 20 years. My kids eat thousand island shrimp sauce on the side. His keeps the flour on the shrimp crispy. I always get soft shell crab deep fried with a little salt and fried shallots sprinkled over too. Any greens in season sautéed with garlic and salt. Fresh white rice(not that great here) with there soy sauce with sliced peppers and pickled cabbage(free, on the house). The simple things in life that are free are the best. My husband gets these little clams with mince meat, I love it spicy but we ask for it to be made not spicy because my kids love this dish too. I’m not too fond of the sizzling steak but everytime it comes out, the loud Zzzzzzizzling and smell makes you feel your in a fancy restaurant.

I must have hit the Imperial Inn on an off night. There were hardly any customers except a few just in from New York. I thought the food was mediocre at best – and more than what I wanted to pay for. It was raining so maybe that affected the ambiance for the evening. In this part of town I figured I would have done better eating in a casino.

Sooooooo GOOOOD!!! I recommend the chief special sizzling steak. Great four 5 – 6 people. Also fish casserole is the bomb. I love the service and the waiters/waitresses get things don’t quick. Their very nice and is amazingly polite. I would spend my birthdays here every year. Good things about this place is that you can reserve table in the«mirror room». This place does tend to get loud if full so if you want a quiet place for you and your special guest I recommend somewhere else. Other then the noise level from other table this is a great place to eat and great for families.

Good traditional Chinese restaurant. Roast pork was delicious. The roast duck could’ve been crispier.

Family and I were visiting the boardwalk and I decided to bring the family to this place based on Unilocal reviews. Glad I did. We went on a Wednesday evening at around 5:30 pm. It wasn’t busy at all but we did notice a lot of take out orders being placed by the casino workers coming in. Always a good sign in my opinion. Being from LA, we recognize delish Chinese food when we taste it. Can’t remember exactly what we had but the 3 dishes we had were all very good. Waiter was pleasant and the overall experience was excellent.

On our Jersey Shore tour(in 1 day…) we decided to head out to Atlantic City for dinner. For some reason, we were craving for Chinese food and found this place only a block from the Boardwalk. It was a Sunday night and not particularly busy, but there were Chinese people, so that’s usually a good thing, right? We ordered fried wontons as a starter. They were a complete joke. There was absolutely nothing in them and it seemed we were just chewing down some fried pastry instead. For dinner, we ordered the HK duck, shredded pork and Chinese broccoli. We wanted crispy pork belly instead of shredded pork, but were told they didn’t have pork belly on that day. The food was good enough. The duck was juicy and tasty, the pork dish was just OK, but definitely not my favorite and you can’t really mess up Chinese broccoli. Although staff was friendly and welcoming, there were some things that disturbed me. Two waiters sat down on the table behind my husband and they started chewing on some fruit very loudly. Another thing that bothered me was another waiter burping really loud as he walked into the kitchen. I understand these things may be normal for Chinese, but we were not the only non-Chinese in the restaurant… Overall, OK, but wouldn’t go back.

You know an asian restaurant is good when you walk in, and all you see are asian customers(minus the token white guy that married into an asian family struggling to keep up with some asian customs). To make it short, the food was good and authentic, a nice relief from the tourist driven foods around the jersey shore. Watercress w. garlic was done with ancient Chinese perfection, sizzling flounder was chewy and delicious, and the duck tongue was just as good as the ones in Taiwan. The service was also very good — the waiter/manager kept good rapport while we ordered. However, it doesn’t quite get five star quality for food — my father makes better. Not bad though, not bad at all.

Born and raised in Atlantic City… I know for a fact that this is where most of the locals and the resort & casino employees go to for fresh and delicious Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine! I have so many fond memories eating here when I was younger and still frequent Imperial Inn every year! Service is fast & friendly, food is absolutely delicious and comforting! I’m dreaming of their… –Salted fish fried rice(com chien ca man)…HOLYSH! T GOOD! –Fried shrimp with scallions… ERMERGHERDDD! –Water spinach(rau muong) w. garlic… MOTHEROFGOD. Ugh, you have no idea how much I am salivating right now!

The bird’s nest made from taro and filled with beef, shrimp, pork, scallops, and veggies is awesome! and they have congee! a pretty good Chinese place with a very large menu, all of which is trlingual between English, Chinese, and Vietnamese ! A fairly nice place, tableclothes, lots of décor. including a wooden model of the Santa Maria. I guess since Columbus was TRYINGto get to China in the Santa Maria, if the present day Bahamas(and well the two American continents too) had not gotten in the way, there is some vague relation. No desserts.

We stopped by here after a day of fun at the Boardwalk. It seemed kind Chinese-Vietnamese owned? Well, there are many Vietnamese options in addition to all the Chinese ones, in any case. The restaurant itself is quite nice. It was really quiet when we got there, and I was a bit concerned about that, but there was no reason for that at all. Fun little quirk: They have a clock that chimes«My Favorite Things» on the hour. How cute is that? Service was very friendly and prompt. We ordered off the Chinese menu that they gave us(must’ve been able to SENSE that we were Chinese? XD). I was comforted by their all-Chinese menu — it, at the very least, implies authenticity. We got a meal for 4, even though it was just 3 of us. Pretty yummy stuff. The(salt & pepper ribs) were super crispy and were topped with crispy onions. Very savory and delicious. There was a vegetable dish, a fish dish, a delicious duck bone soup(the kind served with Peking duck)… it was all quite tasty.
