Was all of the food amazing? No. Loved the cheesesteak fries & they had a very fresh fruit salad that was large enough to save for breakfast. Coffee tasted like instant. 3 Stars because of the excellent SERVICE! Outstanding. All of the waiters went above & beyond. Also the bartender. If any staff saw us need anything they ran right over. Keep up the good work !!! Customer service goes a long way. For this reason we’ll be back !!!

Good food. Drinks were definitely well made. 3 stars because I saw a rat running around a couple of times

Be prepared to wait. A LONGTIME. The service is horrifically slow. We placed our order for breakfast and waited 50 minutes for our food. They did not apologize or make any effort to even check in throughout our wait. Now I understand that breakfast can be a busy time but there were TONS of empty tables. When our food finally did arrive, they got several of our friends’ orders incorrect. It then took another ten minutes to get the correct food out, and another long wait for the check despite us asking and following up. Again no apologies from the staff. Two stars because at least the food was okay. Decent, diner level. But just okay. Don’t waste your money or time. There’s tons of other options right nearby in the casino.

Was apprehensive seeing the low reviews on Unilocal, but was hungry around 10PM on a Saturday night and all the buffet options around the area were closed. The bread that was brought out was abundant, nice and warm accompanied with butter, marinated bell peppers and olives. They had a great New York strip special that came with with grilled vegetables and a baked potato. It came out cooked perfectly. I’m not a huge fan of plain baked potatoes with sour cream but it is exactly what came with the meal so can’t complain. The only downside was we ordered a sautéed clam appetizer that, while tasty, was extremely salty. Beyond that, service was fantastic and food was exactly what we ordered.

We came here after arriving to AC early in the evening and had to eat dinner ASAP. The restaurant had a few diners in it, but was sort of empty. The décor is really cute, and the restaurant is very spacious. Our waiter Bashar came over and introduced himself and got us some waters. For an appetizer we ordered the philly cheese steak dumplings and the cheese quesadilla. Both things tasted really good, especially the dumplings, they had them plated on top of warm melted cheese. mhmmmm they were so good. As my entrée I got the grilled chicken bistro topped with arugula salad that had a balsamic glaze on it. It was good, and they gave a generous piece of chicken. The food here is priced decent and the portions are really big. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but the food is definitely good. I would come back if I ever come to Taj again.

This is where you get your average American breakfast. I didn’t really like the omelet or potatoes there, but the pancakes are pretty good. I asked for eggs to be over easy, but they messed them up, and the yolk was not what I expected.

I love the décor. Simple, not pretentious at all but you still felt like you were in a really nice restaurant as you walked into Plate leaving behind in the casino tears of joy, crazy eyes when the slot machine sings, broken hearts of losing,(too) fast foods and misplaced funds. Like I said, I absolutely loved the décor as masculine as it may come across with their shades of browns amidst stainless steel, white lights, clean lines and wood. Plate restaurant is also very clean. I ordered a medium rib eye which came with a baked potato and asparagus and a steak sandwich with chips. My steak tasted vey bland. Not a lover of salt but a few shakes did improve the taste. Their chips were very yummy and I felt I should have ordered a basket of that instead. The sandwich is still in the refrigerator. The waiter was pleasant and service was quick. Not sure if it was only at the time of my visit but I noticed only male servers and for some reason I have always liked this in the restaurants I’ve seen it. Overall experience was good and rated TTI, «They Tried It» and for the effort I say 3 stars. The End.

Plate is like an old friend of mine who has never let me down as other friends have done in the past. Specific to this review is the«Hangover Burger» which has become my favorite burger of all time. What makes this meal on a bun different? Brioche bun, black Angus beef, fried egg over medium, smoked Gouda, red onions, tomato, mayo, mustard, ketchup and last but by no means least beacon! Holy shit this is good! That first bite will remind you of a time«innocence» was lost and you couldn’t wait to do/taste it again. Everything melts in your mouth simultaneously giving the taste buds orgasms never previously achieved. Once again don’t believe me try it yourself! TheNYking.

Service was ridiculously slow, and our server was super flustered, even though the place wasn’t crazy busy. So if you are in a rush, it’s probably best to tell them upfront because it’s hard to grab their attention. Coffee was good & the 2 eggs with potatoes and bacon($ 12) were okay. That’s literally all I can say about this place.

When we arrived to the restaurant, there was a huge queue even though there were plenty of tables available. It took a while for them to seat us as well other guests. The service was very slow and the staff were short with us. In all, the server took 15 minutes to come for our drinks orders, and 45 minutes for the actual food to come. The assistant service manager did come to apologize and offer us fruit while we were waiting, but I would not eat here again.

Im actually pretty surprised at how many bad reviews this restaurant has. Ive been here a few times and loved every bite, especially the philly cheesesteak dumplings. The reason i had to give 4 stars is because, as much as i love this place, the last time i was here the food was pretty bland and definitely not up to par. I do plan on coming back, the prices are pretty decent and i would recommend this place to anyone.

I tried the margarita pizza which wasn’t bad. Also, I tried the eggs Benedict for breakfast and my stomach hurts me until now(2 days after). The service is slow, and the waiters seem untrained. Furthermore, they put some kind of paper bill on the table when you first arrive and the waiter then takes it. This seems weird and unprofessional.

Zero stars is my verdict. A dead gnat adorned the chicken«special,» appetizing. I had a Caesar salad with odd tasting lettuce. My father had pastrami that smelled bad. How do they have the balls to serve food that’s gone bad? Trump should serve his balls instead. Maybe they’d taste better than this crap. We should have just left. They replaced the pastrami with a burger.

I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a food court restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised when they served us a tasty starter plate of roasted red peppers, olives, toasted multigrain bread and creamy butter. It all went down hill after that. Our main courses were pretty terrible, my mediterranean platter was piled with lumps of cold hummus, nan bread, tomatoes and olives, it was borderline frozen and tasted like they had literally just pulled everything out of the fridge. My sister’s pasta meal was bland with two white blobs of what we assumed was chicken. The servers on the other hand were very nice too bad the food was so off.

Food was good, service was attentive, pricing was acceptable and portions were substantial. We Ordered: Steak(Medium) with Baked Potato($ 19) Steak(Medium Rare) with Fries($ 19) Chicken«Chicken Caesar» Salad($ 13) Roast Beef Sandwich($ 13) Warm bread is complimentary. The steak was good but for the price… it was great. What really surprised me was the salad. The pecans, almonds, apples, and medley of different leaves in that dish was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. It was just the right amount of sweetness from the fruits, creaminess from the chicken caesar salad, and saltiness of the regular grilled chicken. There was no flavor that overpowered the others and I was amazed that I would find such a interestingly delicious salad at what seemed to be your average casino restaurant. There was a bit of a wait to be seated(in an otherwise desolate casino), which was strange to me since there were plenty of empty tables around. However, our waiter was friendly and efficient.

We ordered coffee for all five of us and the pot didn’t have enough for each of us to have a cup. The food presentation was nice but the taste was worst than it looked. Everything was overcooked. Needless to say we will not be back unless we have to use our comps.

Decided to give this place another chance because we had comps and it was close by before we left. Unfortunately the presentation was a lot better than the actual delivery and taste of food. The eggs Benedict was over cooked and not runny at all. The potatoes were very salty and the medium rate steak was medium well. Also my egg white omelet with turkey sausage and cheese had to entirely too much cheese and not enough turkey sausage. Plus our party of five ordered coffee so they brought out a halfway full pot of coffee that only filled up four out of five mugs.

My favorite place in AC for brunch. The servers are very friendly. I’m a big fan of the kicked up benedict. It’s poached eggs and crab cakes served on an English muffin. The hollandaise sauce is quite tasty. I also recommend the crab and asparagus omelette. Try to arrive early for breakfast on weekends, especially during the summer or holidays. Although general entrance and trump one card holders are on separate lines with executive and chairman card holders, the line tends to be a bit of wait because it isn’t the biggest establishment and probably understaffed. I recommend this place when staying at Taj Mahal.

Ambiance/Décor/Atmosphere: About the only thing good about Plate is the atmosphere. It’s like trendy, but classy, but casual, but intimate at the same time. Noise/sound level: I visited Plate on a Saturday and it wasn’t very busy. The sound level was average or a little louder than that. But, the volume is nothing that takes away from your enjoyment. Menu: Diner like, but not too big that it confuses you. A decent sized menu with noting that catches your eye though. Service: The service is kind of apathetic and care free, but if you catch a server on a good day you might fare well. There are quite a few servers on hand and one way or another they will pass you off to another server. Food: For the price commanded by Plate the food should be fresh, but it is not fresh at all; the food is frozen to the nines. If anyone says differently they have no tongue and cannot tell what is fresh and frozen. I ordered the Hangover Burger and asked for it medium. I received the burger flat and burnt to a crisp giving me a hunch it was a frozen patty. Not only that, but the fries and chicken tenders were frozen among others like premade eggs that my wife and I previously ordered. Disappointing to say the least. Bar: Full, but would you really want to pay top dollar for a Miller Lite? Price: Very high for frozen food even considering the fact you’re in AC. The quality is nothing short of something I wouldn’t want to pay for. Overall: Other than the atmosphere there’s no reason to frequent Plate restaurant, unless you cannot get in Hard Rock Café, Rim, or Rain Forest Café. Even when other places were booked full Plate was pretty dead and had seats to spare.
