Employee was nice and let me try many flavors of italian ice. I got a mango gelati(with vanilla custard) and a green apple gelati(with chocolate custard). Both were very delicious, especially the vanilla custard and the green apple italian ice. Pretty pricey $(4.90) but totally worth it because i was totally satisfied.

Rita’s also had frozen yougart. It was a warm day on the boardwalk, so it seemed like a logical choice. It is one of the few places in all of AC that I saw packed & with a line. Whoop what did they know that I didn’t know? So I got in line. I ended up with a frozen yougart chocolate shake. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was good. For the price, it was rather small, but considering AC prices it was fair & in line. On a hot day, it sure hit the spot. What’s a girl to do? When you’re hot & tired, stop & rejuvenate yourself.

I have been hearing about Rita’s Italian ices for awhile now and I finally had a chance to try them. I went with the small coconut cream for $ 3 and it was delicious. I know they have more exotic flavors but I love coconut. The small cup was actually pretty large and I only ate about half of it since it was plenty. Next time I think I will be more adventurous and try new flavors.

On a hot day, Rita’s gelatis sure do hit the spot! A gelati first has a layer of custard, then flavored fine ice is packed in, and topped with a swirl of more custard. The ice comes in a variety of flavors and the custard comes in vanilla, chocolate, and mixed(i think that’s it). I got the lemon ice + vanilla custard — sooooo good! Before you know it, the gelati is done, so make sure you get a medium or even a large if you are sharing with another person.

Rita’s Italian ice on th boarwalk by ballys. If you have tried one you have tried them all. Ices and custard always please on a warm summer night. What I liked here was the prompt and quick service in this place that was teeming with people coming in from the casinos and off the boardwalk. A pleasant and tasty experience.

First time I’ve had RITA’S and it was AMAZE-BALLS! Loved it! The staff was super nice but the dessert was even better :)

No seating here so get it to go and enjoy an Italian ice or custard along the boardwalk. The cone is tasty and portable, just finish it before it melts.

Since the one in Margate closed, I was a little bummed that I wouldn’t get a gelati until I stumbled upon this one while walking through Bally’s Wild West to the regular Bally’s. What a great surprise. They have a great treat… the gelati, a wonderful combination of soft serve ice cream and water ice. I always get the mint cream ice and a twist. The small portion is just fine. They have a bunch of other flavors. The place is a little tight and no seating inside. But in summer, take it out to the boardwalk to enjoy your treat. You’ll definitely get to see some interesting characters roaming around. So glad this location is here! I’ll be back for sure.

One of the go to places in Atlantic City when you have a kid. You can hang out inside the Wild West casino by the water fall and enjoy your creamy goodness. They do get busy at times, but if you use the window on the outside it may be a little faster than fighting the clouds inside.

This was definitely one of the highlights on our visit to Atlantic City. I had the gelati which has ice custard on the bottom, italian ice in the middle and more ice custard on top. It has the best of BOTH worlds(Italian ice AND ice custard!), I don’t know why anyone would order anything else! The italian ice was soft and had small chunks of fruit in it. The ice custard was so smooth and creamy. It was the perfect combination and such a refreshing treat on a hot summer day. Tried the mango ice with vanilla ice custard on my first day there, came back the next day for more and got the strawberry ice with strawberry ice custard. Both were amazing but I had a slight preference for the mango since it wasn’t as sweet. I wish we stayed longer so I could have tried more flavors. Will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again!

Located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk on the outside of the Bally’s casino Rita’s Water Ice is one of those cold treats that you never get tired of, and is thoroughly refreshing on a hot summer day. I make sure to pay this location a visit each time I am in the area for a little gambling fun. The water ice flavors are terrific. There is nothing like watching your tongue turn into the color of a Smurf when eating the Blue Raspberry water ice. The Watermelon is sweet and refreshing. The Root Beer is like drinking a soda. The Cotton Candy is like being a kid at a carnival. You can’t go wrong with many of the flavors here. There is a full list of water ice flavors to choose from, and they also have frozen custards, sugar free ices, custard/ice Misto blends, Blendini frozen blended drinks, and Slenderita fat free frozen custard among others. Plus, the friendly counter staff will let you sample everything before you pick your poison! Hours are normally 12 — 9PM seven days a week, and open seasonally March to November. It’s just a simple and delicious cold treat to walk along the boardwalk with, or chill out and watch the waves roll up on the beach before heading back to the blackjack table.
