2.5 stars if I could give… Service: I’m a little disappointed as I know this is already a chain restaurant and they usually have the same standards. But this locations staff were mismanaged and poorly trained in customer service. My waitress not only didn’t know the menu but she could’ve hurt someone with food allergies. Skipping around, I ordered the brownie dessert for my 7 yr old as she disliked her kids’ mac and cheese. While she is NOT allergic to nuts — I did specify that IF it had nuts, we did NOT want it. The waitress assured me that it didn’t, so I ordered it. I also asked for PLAIN. Plain means no sauce, no toppings, nothing. Put the ice cream in a separate bowl please. Just serve it on a plate… I even said that, to be exact. This is not a tall order… just follow instructions — because what could have happened if this was a real allergy?! Hind sight, I should have rejected the dessert once it arrived. The waitress brought the brownie to me with caramel sauce drizzle on the plate and on top of the brownie!(Looking back at the menu, it says the brownie dessert contains chocolate chips and nuts — which both are embedded into the brownie itself… you can’t separate them). Argh. I saw it was not«touching» too much on the top, so I shaved it off with a knife. This dessert was disgusting… even for the adults that like brownies and nuts. Tasted like some stale cookie lukewarm via a microwave. YUCK. I complained when she came back to check on us and she only offered me a «sorry about that» regarding the nuts and on the taste. She did not offer to comp us or to ask us if we wanted something else. Terrible… again, this is a chain restaurant… isn’t there a rule on this stuff?! It was late by in the night(about 10PM) by the time this went down so we just paid the bill and left. I tipped her the usual 15% as she did refill our drinks as requested. But tsk tsk … the other problem w/the service was utensils. We had to ask twice for utensils and our food had already arrived. Duh! Food review: it’s a chain restaurant, not high expectations here… but I did expect their formulaic servings and flavors. I used to frequent Ruby Tuesday’s as a college kid so I know this chain well but obviously not this location. This is Atlantic City, NJ not Westbury, Long Island. Anyway, onto the food. We did not do the famous«salad bar» option for an extra few bucks… it was late, just wanted a quick dinner and to go back to the hotel. We did order the Cajun rubbed ribs and the Steak & Lobster tail entrees. The lobster tail was tiny … this lobster was just barely a 1 pounder judging from the tail. But it was cooked properly and came out of the shell easily. No complaints here. The steak I ordered though, medium, was almost medium well. :-(And it was chewy… not flavorful at all. They gave me sauce on the side but it was meh. Sauce or no sauce… still meh. The spaghetti squash was my choice of side and baked potato. No complaints there… both were cooked properly and was as pictured(see my photo I posted). The Cajun rubbed ribs were good — had a nice mild kick to them. My hubby ordered the rice pilaf and asparagus… which was an additional supplement as asparagus is a «premium» side. Seasonal so explains the price. Overall not happy with our meal — definitely not the service. So I almost didn’t want to review this place, but I had to share my bad experience as an Elite Unilocaler. That’s what this site is for.

Haven’t eaten at a Ruby Tuesdays for along time. Went last night and really enjoyed it. The salad bar wasn’t huge but loved the waldorf salad and the cheddar biscuits were awesome. The dinner was good and the service was great I think her name was Bridget. Only negative was the hostess she had a bad attitude perhaps the hostess position isn’t the best one for her.

I am not a particular fan of this chain, but there I was in AC. The Tun Tavern was packed. I won’t eat at Applebees or McDonald’s so I kept walking on my hour break from a session at the convention center. Before I knew it, I saw Ruby Tuesday ahead and thought, «Why not?» It wasn’t particularly busy. I sat at the bar. I selected the Asiago and Peppercorn sirloin with broccoli and zucchini. I was rather impressed with the flavor of that steak. No, it’s not the sirloin my butcher cuts for me. But for a chain restaurant, it was very good. The bartender who waited on me was friendly and made certain I was out on time to return to my afternoon session. Someone later mentioned that the chain had overhauled itself recently. Perhaps I will give it another try some time.

My husband & I came here for an early dinner the other day & was surprise to see all that good stuff In their menus at an affordable price! We ordered the same… Dpring Rolls for appetizer, Rib Eye Steak. Medium Rare w Portabello Mushrooms, Baked Potato w Butter & Sour Cream & Salad… with some Sangria to go with it… The wait was so longgggg, the waitress kept passing by & didn’t say anything until I complain about what’s taking so long…& she said they are short staffed because the chef called in sick! Terrible!!! When finally the food arrived, by this time I was famished & could eat anything… the steak came back VERY well done! Unbelievable!!! It wasn’t worth the wait!!! I don’t thing I’ll go back there again, or maybe I’ll try again one more time when the chef is there… Everybody deserves a second chance.

Ok so go inside got my chair with my friend and I had raspberry lemonade, it tooooo god damn sweet. I got the ribs two different kinds which was good expect the fact they forgot one side dish so asked me again after delivering it to our table. Grilled zucchini was the side missing, he comes back with just plain zucchini not even grilled… Then when paying for it he was just standing there waiting for us to sign. Felt like he was in a hurry to get rid of us. Rushed to order and pay bill.

I went to this place after visiting the mall around that area with my sister. We experienced a really bad service from our waitress, and she also forgot to bring one of the orders we placed. They were almost closing, but that’s not reason to treat your customers rushing them and not paying attention to what they have ordered. The waitress didn’t even mentioned the shrimps she forgot to bring and just left like nothing. The rest of the food wasn’t that bad, drinks were ok, but we were not comfortable at all with the service we were receiving.

Waiters were really off point … After repeating my order which was nothing different than what was on the menu… They still came back with the wrong order. Food display was not pleasing to me at all …

I went here with my wife for a quick bite on a Friday afternoon. We order southwest eggrolls, but instead were given chicken taquitos(looked like the frozen kind at the grocery store) cut up and a side of watered down ranch… Ugh! They are not eggrolls? I then ordered a burger with bleu cheese and onion straws… the description says with a boston bbq sauce. I asked for this burger with no bbq sauce, but with bacon. I was given(after 35 minutes FOR A BURGER) this burger WITHBBQ Sauce AND lettuce, tomato, onion, and MAYO on a stale bun. I took one bite and spit it out. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla and she said it was so gross, she couldn’t eat anymore. We couldn’t find our waitress for about another 10 minutes, so I had to ask a bartender to find her. She asked if there was a problem? I told her I had managed my family’s restaurant for 9 years and I have NEVER refused a meal in my life, but the food was INEDIBLE! She asked if I wanted a box?! Seriously?! I said no I want the check. She then asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. I told her, the manager obviously doesn’t care or this would not be acceptable by their standards, so what’s the point? In addition to this horrible service and food, the bathrooms are dirty and I would rather use a port-o-john than their restrooms, the table was sticky, and the overall cleanliness was terrible. DONOTGOHERE!!!

My family and I were seated right away which was nice. It was a very tight fit around our table of 4, elbows were hitting each other during lunch. A group of 6 came in and were placed at a table that held 4. needless to say it was very cramped at their table, too. The food was ok. My pretzel burger was pretty greasy. I wish I drank last night because the grease would have cured my hangover. We asked for a high chair for my daughter and the first one that was brought out was filthy(much like the table we were using. Old food and salt were stuck to the table). Service was friendly and pretty quick with the food and drinks. After driving an hour to AC, we decided it was time to leave after this mess. I felt dirty during the meal(and I’ve been to other Ruby Tuesday’s before and enjoyed myself). Should have went to Longhorn next door.

food is decent and up to par with what i would expect from a chain restaurant. however, the service is SOSLOW during weekend lunch hours. and it wasn’t even that busy in the restaurant. it took almost half an hour to flag down someone’s attention in the bar area to take our order. and another 20 minutes for the food to actually come out. in that time, we could’ve just ate in. i think that’s pretty unacceptable for atlantic city restaurants in the summer time. perhaps that’s why no one comes here for lunch.

Typical Ruby Tuesday, as the menu is standard but the service and wait time was bad. We arrived on a Friday at approx. 9pm. The salad bar was out of or low on many items. On top of that, there were very few other patrons and our wait time was L O N G! Then when our food came out, it was cold and/or dried on top. Which made us think ti sat for some time in the back. The burger and sweet potato fries were good. I got a Chicken dish(Bella?) and it was VERY salty. Though the spaghetti squash and zucchini sides were good. Wouldn’t go back, unless desperate. Though I probably would not have chosen that as the location anyway, if it was not for it being a group decision.

When I walked in there was nobody standing by the host stand to seat me. Then a server came by and asked me if I wanted to sit at the bar!!! Did I ask to sit at the bar. I finally had chance to try The pretzel bacon cheeseburger. It was disgusting. The pretzel bun was way to salty, it was overwhelming salty. The burger was greasy, it didnt hold up very well, it fell apart as soon as I took a bite. A good burger made well would hold up well.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Salad bar looked clean but then again, we were one of the first people to arrive. I ordered the chicken tacos. Good presentation and nice balance of flavors. I finished my dish no problem. But my wife ordered the mini-lunch of steak with mashed potatoes on the side. For under $ 10, it seemed an attractive deal. Ordered medium rare and that came close, pink in the center. The problem though was that it wasn’t edible. Every piece was unchewable. It was just tendons and veins through it. We quickly realized why the dish was so cheap, how they call that«steak» is beyond me. Wonder if Ruby’s does their grocery shopping at Walmart? We told the waitress about it who got the manager over and quickly had the kitchen cook us a brand new one. The manager personally selected the steak for us. She was nice enough to visit our table a few times and asked if the steak was better. We told her yes, but sadly, some parts were still unchewable. The manager even surprised us by saying they would comp us a dessert, but we gladly declined. Now that’s what I call customer service!

Okay so my bartender, can’t remember his name since I lost my receipt, was extremely sweet. He was cracking jokes and very welcoming. My issue is my food and sangria. I had a strawberry one and the best thing about it is the muddled strawberry. It tasted like water. I ordered a jalapeño pretzel burger and it was the greasiest slop ever. It was NOT spicy and everything kept sliding off the already tiny bun. It would have been better had it been less greasy and more flavorful. I love spicy food and that just wasn’t doing it for me. My sister had some seafood trio and her portions was childlike. The lobster tail was dry and overdone. The crab cake looked like tilapia with bread crumbs on top and just tasted like bread crumbs. I know crab, I’m from Maryland and that wasn’t it!

Wish I could rate ZERO. Horrible Experience. Walked in to a wait so decided to sit at the bar. Empty glasses plates and used napkins very where. Tried to order a Bacardi and Diet — was informed they took Bacardi off the menu. What Bar/restaurant in the world takes a basic rum staple of the menu. Ordered the mini sliders(which I’m usually a fan of) and my GF ordered the fried chicken salad. I waited, and waited, and waited for the dirty dishes to be cleared so I could get my salad from the salad bar. Finally pushed the dirty dishes out of my way onto the ledge and went to salad bar. Half way through making my salad — surprise no sneeze guards on the salad bar. Really? A national franchise with a dirty bar and filthy salad bar? Went back to sit down, BTW still no silverware or clean napkins. When food came I asked the runner to speak to a manager. Food looked like it had been sitting under a lamp, sliders dry, yellow lettuce and over fried chicken. Runner scurried to pick up the napkins around us. When the manager came over he had a chefs shirt on, so I am assuming he was the manager on duty not the restaurant manager. When I addressed my health code violations concern, and serving area cleanliness to him he just nodded. I asked him if it’s this dirty In the front of the house, what’s it like in the back? He chuckled and said it was cleaner. And that, is when we left.

I absolutely hate this place. The food was terrible. my sirloin looked like it was correctly until you eat actually place it into your mouth and chew on it. it is like chewing on gum. It was not worth it, i’d rather get mcdonalds. Went again to test it. They don’t mention to you that you can’t share a salad. They charge you extra for whatever they want. The manager is terrible. Server is horrible. She couldn’t simply bring 4 plates. It was miserable.

Surprisingly, this was the saving grace of our disastrous family vacation. Skipping all the arguments and getting lost along the way, we outvoted the adults and settled in for Sunday brunch. It’s near impossible to recall the massive amount of food our party of 6 had ordered, but just remembering everyone was satisfied with their pasta, French toast, omelet, crêpe, and salad/salad bar. The Ruby Tuesday fruit teas were exceptionally tasty, I’ll remember to order when we go to one closer to home. This was the ONLY time during our 2-day vacation that we were all happily eating and laughing together. Dad flirted with the waitress and all… *face palms* xD And apologies for undertipping! We gave all the cash to the person who wanted to swipe their card, which turned out to undertip despite what we gave –_–

I WAS a huge Ruby Tuesday’s fan — until my recent visit to this location. I guess they changed the Ruby Mini’s and now instead of onion strings — you get Mayo. Nasty. Also — Thank you Ruby Tuesdays for not replacing your fryer grease for — must be years — because it made the fries UN-EDIBLE. They had this über nasty after taste and came out soggy — not crispy. My thighs thank you. My wallet hates you for wasting my money. Basically I ate salad bar(which supposedly had 10 new items on it — and apparently minus a few too. What happened to the broccoli and potato salads???) and didn’t touch my meal bc it was so gross. I wouldn’t return to this location — ever — even if you paid me.
