I really wanted to like this place. I live a god Philly cheesesteak. It wasn’t good though. The bread wasn’t fresh and the meat was chewy and gristly. Better off gong to Philly for the real thing or go to Whitehouse Subs when in Atlantic City.

Can’t beat all day happy hour at Tony Luke’s at the Tropicana resorts hotel in Atlantic city, their $ 2.50 tacos are a great deal(minimum 3) and their beers specials are great. Pete the bartender is attentive and great as well. It’s only open in the weekends Friday to Sunday.

Came here late night after hitting the casinos. Cheesesteak was on point but the fires were the star of the meal. Hot, large amount and plenty of real potato taste. Although the Philly version is much better, this one isn’t that far off.

Excited be be trying the NJ version of the South Philly staple. we snuck in for early lunch… Order your meal and they will run it out to you. sitting out in the outside dining area on the boardwalk was nice. Keep it short Cheese steak with peppers, onions, american cheese. Very Good… not crazy about the bread but sandwich good. Roasted port with«Sharp Provolone» and brocalli Rabe. Was expecting more after he stated they dunk the pork… Found it a bit dry though tasty. and provolone was not sharp and Rabe was just ok and no great addition to the sandwich. hand cut fries were good & hot nothing special. All and all would not go out of my way to return here but if at the TROP can’t go wrong for a quick bite.

I have had Tony Luke’s in Philly. And this location is comparable. The steak and cheese was delicious. I wish I ordered more than one. But that would be unbelievably unhealthy. Bottom line. The steak and cheese was delicious with zero complaints. I only got the hoagie. No sides. So I can’t speak for anything other than the cheesesteak.

If you want the best cheese steak from here to philly then look no further. Tony Luke’s has been a Philly tradition for as long as I can remember and now you can experience the tradition here at the beach. Sure it might be a little pricey but you’re on vacation and you definitely get what you pay for. Aren’t you worth it? ;) Seriously take it from me, order the steak sub and fries. You’ll be happy you did. The food is fantastic.

Good cheesesteak. Off the boardwalk with their own entrance, close to the hooters and the main casino entrance. The staff from the couple times I’ve been here has been outstanding… Always upbeat and fast.

I’ll start off by saying … It’s good. But … Then there’s the hype … The fact it’s located in the casino … exposure on Food Network and franchised. It’s expensive for what you get. I’ve ordered cheesesteaks from Jonuzi’s that are comparable and MUCH cheaper. Like … You get double from Jonuzi’s by comparison and Jonuzi’s delivers. If you’re walking by and want to spend twice as much? You’ll enjoy the cheesesteak.

I stopped next door to get a slice of pizza and turned around and saw fries… oooooo fries… so i ordered some… the fries were good, but you would think they hand cut them individually as long as it took, I would’ve given them 4 stars because the fries were good but it literally took so long, i couldn’t do it… and its not like they were crowded, it was empty!

Tony Luke’s says it closes at midnight but was closed at 9pm, 2 nights in a row. I don’t like wasting my time.

Big enough to share. Tender meat, flavorful, lots of it and on a good roll! Only thing that is a disappointment is that the extra toppings are pricey. Service was good and they have covered outdoor seating. The pizza they have at the place next door is good too.

Must be an embarrassment for Tony. Hire some Italian people. Really? a middle eastern cook at a south philly cheese steak place. Shame on you.

One word, disappointment. I ordered a cheesesteak and was disappointed with the small size for $ 10.15. The cheesesteaks at White House Sub are twice the size of the Cheesesteaks at Tony Luke’s. Not to mention that the servers inside are rude and hostile. I will never go to Tony Luke’s again. The next time that I am in Atlantic City I will be sure to avoid Tony Luke’s. What a joke!

I was skeptical about a cheesesteak place inside of what’s basically a casino hotel food court and was expecting a greasy, soggy, bland, unappetizing mess of sandwich. To my surprise, this place rocks and is completely worth checking out. The cheesesteak uses top notch meat, fresh bread, and isn’t greasy at all. Get it with provolone and onions. The sandwiches are huge so you could easily split one with someone unless you’re ultra hungry. It does take a little while to get your food but it is worth the wait. The fries aren’t bad either but they went a little heavy on the Old Bay seasoning. I’d come back here for sure but will split a sandwich next time.

Your average steak sandwich here(I’d rather have Geno’s). The chicken cutlet wasn’t anything special either. Its a bit pricey and the seating is annoying. The Salt & Vinegar fries were great, though! I’ve never had fries like that before and I’d love to have them again. This location might be nicer in the summer when you can eat everything on the beach or the boardwalk.

Tony Luke’s is a good cheese steak spot. I’ve been in Philly and found AC to offer a comparable cheese steak. i really could not tell the difference. Their bread is great. The meat is high quality. I always go with the provolone. I added mushrooms this time. It took a little long, but was well worth the wait. It’s nice to have this tasty option in AC. Get drunk, and it’s becomes 5 stars, until the next morning when you feel like one star for eating such a big sandwich at three in the morning.

I never got a chance to eat. The girl at the counter in Sunday morning, November 3 couldn’t be more rude or disinterested. She says, «Can I help you?» and, when I try to order a pork sandwich that’s when she cuts me off abd says.“I need your name for my order.” Why not.“Welcome to Tony Luke, can I get your name for your order?“ I give her my name and she tells me that they are our of broccoli rabe. Not I’m sorry we’re out of this, just we’re out. The restaurant business is a tough one, especially when I can throw a stick in the air and hit three places happy to take my money.

Nice to finally have more(and better) options in the Trop. They were lacking in quick and casual dining places. There is a bar attached, so you can order from the counter service restaurants and sit and have a drink. Small, but serves its purpose.

She said…“So we tried this place out because we are staying at the tropicana and we are big Philly cheesesteak fans. We usually make the 2 hr drive to Philly from where we live just to eat at pats king of steak. This place was good just slow service. Cheese fries and cheesesteak with cheese whiz was good. Maybe not as good as pats in Philly tho.” He said…”
