I was a member here for 5 years(on and off) back when I lived in Highlands from 2008 – 2013. When I first joined, I mostly did random weight training and ran a few miles on the treadmill to get some cardio in. The gym provided towels, was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, and had a good mix of people: some young, some older, some fit, some not yet… Everything was pretty typical, but no complaints. In 2010 I had to have spinal surgery unexpectedly, and basically had to learn to walk again. After a few months of intense therapy, I was able to start exercising on my own again, so I stopped by Eastpoint to visit and rejoin. The gym was now expanding, and had opened a personal training studio called SHORERESULTS a couple of doors down the strip mall. I’ve always steered clear of personal trainers so I was reluctant to believe any of the claims this studio promised, but Paul(the owner) is a super friendly(and fit) guy, so I took a chance and signed up. BESTDECISIONOFMYLIFE! Shore Results trainers customized my workouts based on my limitations from surgery and worked with me to blow right past«my old self» and put me in the best shape of my life. I loved my ever evolving work out regiments, and the metabolic classes were always a fun way to shred calories. Between the custom recovery shake bar, the amazing staff, and the overall level of care this gym provides, I can honestly say its the number one thing I miss most from the area. Highly recommended by me.
