My number one stop for Volvo work.
I have owned 6 Volvos. The owner John use to work at Seingold Volvo, 766 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI 2 861, as a mechanic. When he opened his own shop I was on board.
I have been dealing with John over 10 years, and have very few complaints.
Pros: Honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, and reliable.
When you take your car for an estimate John will let you know all your options. He is not the type of mechanic to add a bunch of unneeded work, and extras.
Cons: It’s just John. You may need to wait a few days to get an appointment, and because of his busy schedule, you may need to purchase parts for the work.
I like buying my own parts. It allows me to see what they actually cost, and helps me to know there are no hidden fees. This may be a turn off to some customers. I would recommend getting into a habit of learning what labor, and parts cost. You’ll save lots of money in the long run.
John works on most makes, and models, but if you are a Volvo owner in the Attleboro area, making friend with John is a must.

Have been going to John Johns for over 7 years now with my 130K mile Volvo. John is very fair, fast and all around does a great job. He went and found a used part in place of buying a brand new and saved me serval hundred dollars in the process. I’m sure the dealership service would not have gone the extra mile to save me money. I think he does more than just Volve so it would be worth giving him a call if you are looking for a mechanic.
