This place is just ho hum. I always order takeout, wouldn’t dine here. The servers are a bit rude, tables look dirty. The food isn’t exactly what I would consider to be authentic, the meat can be quite greasy. It’s nice that this place is open 24 hours. This is my go-to place for late night cravings since here really isn’t anything else in this town. I usually order a burrito with carne asada which is pretty good, I’ve also had their sopes which were not good at all. I will only order burritos from here in the future, and probably only when everywhere else is closed.

Love the food. The prices are reasonable. A large variety of choices to pick from the menu. Best of all you could see a picture of the food you want to order.

In the past month I have come back more frequently than before even with the poor service. I guess I had bad luck with service in previous visits. The service was better in my last 4 – 5 visits. The food is still pretty good, and is way better than fast food Mexican restaurant.

Always friendly service at the counter. I get my food quick, hot and delicious. The down fall is the prices seem to be going up.

Food is great, employees rude and don’t get your order right, mean people great food, love that they are always open. We go when we want good food, kind of expensive.

Marias taco shop is pretty good for mexican fast-food. It is convenient because of its being open 24 hours. Although the place seems like more of a fast food place, the food is pretty satisfying, if you are looking for something quick and cheap.

Good food usually I think it depends on the cook. Some days they are super yummy others it’s eh. But in my opinion they have the best fish tacos. The whole family loves the cheesy fries and their rolled tacos are good when not over cooked. :)

Great Mexican food, fast and excellent service. Not too pricey. Good variety of salsas. We also like that it’s open 24 hours a day. Menu offers a lot of variety.

Came here at night. Food tasted like it had been sitting all day, dry beans, dry tortillas.

Everyone has heard of those little«hole in the wall» Mexican food joints that serves awesome food… well this is one of them. If you are wanting to get really full for little money then stop by here. There menu is easy to read and has a photo of every single plate. They also have a salsa bar with many different salsa’s to choose from. My family likes to grab dinner here on a Friday or Saturday night and then go home and watch movie while pigging out.

This is some of the best Mexican food you can get in the area. And in Atwater it’s one of the only places open 24⁄7!

Carne asada fries!!! We try to eat at home as much as we can but when we splurge on fast food we go to Maria’s for the carne asada fries! It’s one of the few fast food places in Atwater that our family frequents! It is also open 24⁄7 which is great when your craving Maria’s at midnight!

We enjoy the burritos and nachos here. Our overly picky son had one bite of our pastor burrito supreme and now he gets one everytime we go. Give it a try…

Horrible customer service and even worse food. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Came here for the first time on a weeknight and it was pretty empty, but we were not deterred. Our classmate had previously recommended California style burritos here(fries in your burrito, like they do in San Diego), so my three colleages ordered as such. $ 4.99 will get you a burrito with any meat(they have the exotics like lengua), guacamole(«American» style, or Mexican style with tomatoes and onions), a good selection at the salsa bar(can you say, «all-you-can-eat cilantro and onions?). We don’t think we were charged extra for the fries either. The burritos are pretty big; not Chipotle huge, but pretty sizable. I usually eat half a Chipotle burrito in one sitting, but got to the 2⁄3 mark before realizing I would reach the point of no return should I take another bite, so I packed the rest of it home. TL said the horchata was one of the best she’s had, tasted pretty authentic, even though we suspect it was produced en masse. One of our co-workers at Castle Clinic said that the Maria’s located on the Air Base is better but only open during daytime hours(she actually seemed sort of disgusted when we said we went to the one on Bellevue), so we’re really excited to check that one out next.

Came here on saturday and I ordered 2 asada tacos, meat was pretty tasty BUT the corn tortillas sucked. Its like they werent heated up all they way and kept breaking on me when I’d pick up to take a bite. So i gave up and ate it with a fork. What mexican place doesnt know how to warm up corn tortillas? seriously This is why i gave it 2 stars, though it should of been 1 but also to the beans were good.

Total dive, with authentic Mexican food. Some people like the guacamole, some don’t, I think it just depends on the person. I usually get the bean and cheese burrito which I could faint thinking about, it is beautiful and delicious in its simplicity. Also — try the carne asada fries. Can’t write. Drooling.
