This is a great little pumpkin patch! I take my family every year. A 20 minute drive from Denton, it’s small, but picturesque and charming. Homemade displays make for great photo-ops. Take a picnic basket and have lunch at a picnic table, walk through the adorable displays and snap pictures, take the hay ride, feed the goats, look at the bunnies, pet the kitties, go through the short hay maze, then visit Katie’s Country Market(on the premises) to buy homemade breads, jellies and decorations. At the end of the hay ride everyone gets to pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. One free pumpkin is given with each admission, so everyone gets one. You can buy additional pumpkins, goards or native plants from the market. The owners are friendly, and if they’re not too busy, will take time to chat. They even offered to take my mother, who has difficulty walking, for a tour of the displays in their golf cart. I did not ask, they pulled up and offered. Admission is $ 7.00 per person, includes the hay ride, all displays/activities and one pumpkin. The country store sells sodas and bottled water. I can’t wait to go this year!
