This café is nothing short of one of the best breakfast places I have eaten at. The food is top notch and amazing. Parker’s Skillet, and the Pecan French toast are my go to meals. Been here 15+ times and have never had a complaint. Food comes out quick and the staff is always friendly with fare prices. I love dropping in here after a morning of duck hunting. I am also excited to hear they are opening another restaurant in Denton. When something is this great it needs to be expanded so others can share the experience.

I don’t know what’s happened to this place. I understand everyone is entitled to an off day, but the last two times we’ve been, it just hasn’t been good. On our most recent visit we were seated at a two-top table even though there were several larger tables available and there were three of us. It really didn’t make any sense as the hostess had to go grab a chair for my son so he could be stuck on the end of a tiny table. So when the waitress came we asked if the three of us could move to one of the four chair tables, which of course she said agreed too. They also didn’t give us a kids menu. We asked the hostess for one when she sat us and she went to get it. She never came back so we asked the waitress. Several minutes later it showed up. The pecan coffee, which I always love, was burnt. My biscuits were burnt on the bottom and my gravy was cold. My bacon was so greasy I didn’t want to eat it. And it felt like we waited forever for our food. Again, this place used to be breakfast staple for me. But after two bad experiences in a row, I’m not sure when or if we’ll be back.

First time visiting Upper Park. Hostesses were nice, waitress was friendly. Was constantly asked multiple times if I would like a refill of my coffee. Food was very tasty, and the décor/environment was very pleasant.

Very disappointed. Sign outside says breakfast served all day. We walked in at 11:30 on a Sunday and were told«not serving breakfast». I gave two stars because they did tell us before seating. If I do return and get to try their breakfast I might change my rating. So bummed since this was my turn to pick a new breakfast place. :(Off to Denton we go.

I’ve been back a few times since my one disappointment, and am really happy to say that Upper Park is back on track. The waffles are great, the omelets and skillet dishes are delicious, and the pecan coffee was lovely. It’s well worth the drive from Denton!

We just moved to Aubrey, and this place is a 2-minute walk from our house. We had stopped in to use the bathroom a couple of times on walks, and were impressed by the stately, yet hometown atmosphere of the place. We came for pecan coffee one morning, and knew we had to try the breakfast. Since, we’ve walked over several times for Saturday morning breakfast and were thoroughly impressed! AMAZING eggs, great skillets — the Eggs Benedict is the best I’ve had(beating out the same meal at Yosemite’s Ahwahnee Hotel). My wife has tried various pancake/waffle meals — all delicious! The staff has always been nice and perfectly attentive. This is now our go-to breakfast stop. Do yourself a favor and try it.

The food was good. No complaints there. The hostesses are sweet.(Or they really tried to be.) But every time we go there it takes over an hour to get our food. Sometimes the waitress comes out and apologizes. Sometimes we sit there without even a drink refill. Today I sat there for over an hour with 3 toddlers and watched table after table get there food before us. The kids were everywhere. The waitress gave us some crackers and never came back with coloring pages. When we stood up to leave they said it was almost ready. We ended up leaving with the food in boxes and didn’t have to pay for it. But when we got home my son was so filled up on crackers he wouldn’t eat. We don’t have many choices, living out here in a small town. I would rather stay home than go here again.

The food is good. Cute atmosphere and has small town charm! However we have had on occasion cold food/shortages of food and the prices don’t reflect the area.

Do yourself a favor and have breakfast here. Pecan coffee is amazing and I don’t even drink coffee. Everything we had was good, we had a big group and had the Mexican food breakfast and chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns. All of it was fantastic. Not a bad thing on the menu. Waitress told us the skillet breakfast were her favorite but I don’t remember if any of us got that. Service was quick and none of us ever saw the bottom of our glass the whole time we were there. Small place so get there early or expect to wait a little bit and search for parking but absolutely worth it.

We are new to the Aubrey area, and we discovered Upper Park Café one morning. What a wonderful find! My husband and I love to stop for breakfast at least once a week. This morning I had breakfast quesadillas and they are my new favorite! We plan on trying their lunch menu soon!

They didn’t have pecan coffee when we went. We have called many times and they don’t answer their phone. For a tiny town-their prices don’t reflect reality

Went here for lunch today was not made aware of extra charge for a side salad instead of the included potato salad. I had a turkey melt sandwich witch had a bit to much fat for my tast by the time it was all said and done with a glass of water to drink $ 10.55 cents without the $ 2.00 tip I left.

We had salads for lunch. Really good. The service good. The building is in the old town with high ceilings making the acoustics bad if there are too many people. The outside patio was a great choice.

Came here when we heard they had opened because we wanted to try someplace different. Came around brunch time and ordered one of their skillets that they advertise. It was pretty good but was dominated by potatos, patatows, or potatoes(Damn you Dan Quail). Wish it would have had more meat in it. Service was also a little slow and they were only about half full. We were not in a big hurry though so no big deal. Food was good though and looked like they had great variety.

Came back after about a month and a half away and it looks like they did a «re-draft» of their waitstaff as we only recognized 2 – 3 servers. Our waitress was one we didn’t recognize and she was fantastic. Our order came out right and pretty quickly. We’ll be back again soon.

Very good breakfast menu, and you’ve got to try the Pecan Coffee. Get a to-go cup, and they will fill that up, too. Omelets and hash browns are delicious, and they have a kids menu as well for the youngsters. Nice interior, it looks more like a coffee shop with its large brick walls. I would use it as one, but unfortunately they offer no Wifi. Closes at 2pm every day.
