Venus Nails

Got the basic pedicure, I have very ticklish feet but no problems the guy did a good job & I wasnt in torture during foot scrub, almost fell asleep. Very relaxing

I went here to get acrylic nails done in French manicure style for a photo shoot I was having the next day and I REALLY wish I would’ve gone somewhere else! It was an absolutely horrible experience! The only good thing about it was that I did not have to wait long before being worked on. I was getting the acrylic french manicure as well as a pedicure and a woman was doing my feet (I had to tell her to turn the water temp down because it was VERY hot) and then an older man began working on my hands at the same time. I have never had my nails done by a male prior to this but I didn’t like the idea of it at the time, but I went ahead and went with it because I didn’t want to wait longer. This guy was extremely ROUGH!!! I don’t know if he used a dremmel tool instead of tools designed for nails specifically but he buffed my nail bed and began applying the glues and chemicals and by the time we were done by fingers were BURNING and THROBBING!!! He was very rough throughout every step of the process and I even had to ask him several times to please make my nail tips more natural looking because he kept wanting to leave them very squared instead of rounded which looks weird to me. After the third time he finally gave them a natural shape but I noticed that some of the nails are all different lengths, for example– my thumbs, one of them is way longer than the other thumb. I also noticed that my nails all have bubbles in them which looks really weird. I could’ve lived with all of that though, I just cannot believe how much in pain I was the rest of that day. I had to keep my fingers in front of a fan to get any amount of relief.
