My favorite restaurant! The staff is always happy and friendly, they really seem to love their jobs! Food is always great as well

Had an event there yesterday and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, despite the large crowd of hungry and thirsty people we brought in. I would definitely return and recommend it.

I went to bds and my server Ashley was very attentive. The food was very good, and the other employees were able to help me with what to make. Overall it was a good get together and I recommend going there.

Today was my second bad experience here. The service here is pathetic. My boyfriend and I waited around 10 minutes for our waitress to show up. At least 5 other servers/workers walked past multiple times noting that we had not been helped. The table next to us was also looking for said waitress, as all their drinks were empty. Ended up leaving before we were greeted by anyone.

Kids love coming here. Food areas were pretty clean. Food was cooked quickly. Wait staff was nice and attentive. No complaints!

Walked in then walked out. This is the second time we’ve had a bad experience here. Always dirty always behind. Don’t waste your time

Here’s what you can expect from this particular mongos location: –Waitresses and waiters who don’t give a shit about you –Disgusting & dirty floors, tables, seats, and bathrooms(just look at the pictures some people have posted…) –Food that tastes like it has gone bad(and probably has, since nobody seems to care at all at this place) –Disgusting undercooked rice that has the consistency and taste of what I’d imagine chalk tastes like I could go into how I had the worst experience with a waitress EVER at this location, but I won’t. However, if your waitress is a big brunette girl who looks like she wants to kill you instead of serve you, just leave. In fact, NEVER come here. The wait staff does NOT want to make you happy(this isn’t just one bad encounter, either. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in my life than when I have to talk to the incompetent wait staff and they roll their eyes at me WHENTHEYMESSEDUPTAKINGMYORDERAND I ASKTOHAVEMYCORRECTORDERINSTEAD) In short, fuck this place.

After waiting an absurd amount of time, the waiter finally showed up to apologize for the wait as he was in the back making a tinfoil hat. No joke. He was making a princess hat out of tinfoil for a coworker. He was uncomfortably close to me, leaning in and apparently giving me «looks». Then, we waited even longer for our water and bowls. We almost walked out because of the wait… It’s not like we were waiting on food to be made. Literally just hand me an empty bowl.

I had a great time last night at BD’s! The concept is pretty straightforward, and within minutes of walking through the door, my boyfriend and I were on our way to creative food heaven. I bypassed the salad bar(last night was not about making responsible choices), and headed straight for the veggies. My first bowl was sort of a garbage can; everything I could fit in the bowl, and then some. I absolutely love that BD’s has multiple vegetarian protein options, including tofu, veggie patties, and great tasting Gardein products like meatless beef strips and chik’n tenders. I’ve never been to any other mainstream restaurant that was that accommodating. So yay BD’s! My next bowl was pad Thai, and my third and final bowl was fajitas. For the fajitas, I utilized the tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese from the salad bar and was able to make a legitimate Mexican dish. My boyfriend had four bowls, but he didn’t really plan them like I did. Everything looked very fresh(as it usually does at this location), and I liked that there were signs indicating where some of the produce was grown! Very cool. BD’s, however, earned its 5th star with its service. Our server, Ashley, was very friendly and attentive. She offered us new bowls as soon as we were finished with our previous meals, and I was never without water. Personally, I absolutely hate when my food touches meat, and the grillers do scrape down the grill after each meal, but I didn’t like the idea of any possible sausage residue on my food, so I asked the guys at the allergy station if my food could be cooked there. Andrew and Luis were more than accommodating, and even hand delivered every one of my bowls to my table. I REALLY appreciated that I got to have my food cooked separately. Andrew and Luis did a great job! All in all, it was a worthwhile trip to BD’s. We don’t go too often because it’s a little expensive($ 16.99 for dinner unlimited bowls and unlimited soup & salad), but it’s always a treat when we do.

When it comes to meat/veggies, bd’s concept and execution are great across the board. However, I hadn’t been to a BD’s in years, and much has changed since my last visit. The server did ask us if we’d been there before, but did not walk us through anything when we said it had been a while. I was, therefore, confused as to what my dish actually was(ie, whether it would come with tortillas). My friends appreciated and made good use of the«allergy bar»(where they prepare everything on clean grills with clean utensils to avoid contamination with allergens). The salad bar was well appointed, but the vegetable soup looked like dirty dishwater and the tomato bisque tasted like Chef Boy R D. This was especially disappointing, as I was in the mood for soup that day. I ordered Pad Thai and it was tasty and a large enough helping to take home leftovers, though I found the jalapenos to be an odd addition to the flavor profile. Would visit again, but would skip the soup.

As far as Mongo’s go, this one isn’t too shabby! The meat/veggie set up is laid out well and was very well-stocked at lunch. Our waiter was helpful and courteous. The foodw was great, as always. The griller guys were entertaining. The only almost bad was when I called ahead to see if they had a separate grill or some other way to cook GF food(co-has celiac) and was rudely advised, «no, why would we have a separate grill?» My co-worker opted not to come with us, since that basically meant there was nothing Mongo-y for her to eat. This was apparently untrue, because there is a huge sign behind the grill about allergies, so I asked a griller guy. He said they can either clean and partition off a section of the main grill or there is a separate grill in the back if it’s an allergy issue and not a dietary preference issue. He apparently told the manager, because she came over to our table and said they are accommodating of all food allergies/issues and can even put together a stir fry in the back so there isn’t cross-contamination with the bins of meat/veggies in the front. Awesome! We work right up the street and now that we know they can(and aren’t annoyed by) accommodating the gluten-free situation we will definitely be back.

Pretty much just a normal Mongolian BBQ, service is pretty good, although they have gotten pretty expensive, I love that they have certain nights for college students that’s cheAper. Other than that no other issues.

I’ve been to Mongolian BBQs a bazillion times. The good: you get to make your own. So you can put stuff that you want in your bowl. They’ll clean the grill specially for you if you have an allergy or if you are vegetarian. The staff is efficient and if there is a wait it moves. The ugly: it is pricy. For what you get, it is expensive. And when you go for a special event they shave $.50 off the price of things… so a bowl is still $ 7. The bowl can turn out really bad if you don’t know what you are doing. The grill gets super messy so other peoples’ bowls could get mixed into yours. Oh and be prepared to scream — it is clean but every surface in the place is hard and it is quite loud.
