Be aware of Store Hours Versus Drop Off Hours! The website said hours are 9 to 9. Called ahead and asked about dropping off and employee said 9 to 9. Arrived a few minutes after 8PM and attendant said drops off stop at 8PM. I had a very full minivan. Very nice young man named Tony who was working back there allowed me to drop off and EVENHELPEDUNLOAD. I really appreciated him and all the good work Salvation Army does.

I’ve shopped at this location before, but not in a really long time. The first time I came here was back in 2011, and I found a ton of good clothing that I took back to Phoenix with me when I was home on a visit. Now that I’m back in town, I find myself shopping here from time to time to see what they have in stock. While it’s not the fanciest location, they do carry a bunch of stuff, and more times then not I’ve walked out with something, weather it be a new outfit, candles, rugs, or something else that I seem to find when I’m here. I do donate here from time to time with my mom when we have stuff that we just don’t need anymore. While it’s not the coolest location, it still carries a bunch of good stuff, and if your in the area and love thrift shopping like I do, drop in and check it out.

When I saw a pair of pants from Express priced at $ 10, I knew I was in the wrong place. I could have went to the Express store and purchased a new pair of pants for that price. I may have needed coupons and a discount, but it’s possible. I say all this to say that they are overpriced at this location. The selection of merchandise wasn’t that great either. I will say that it was organized and clean. You can’t beat that when shopping for thrifted goods.

Nice store, nice staff, reasonable prices. Limited selection compared to the Rochester Hills but you can still find great deals. For example, I found a pair of Dansko hardly worn for $ 6. This shoes is nothing less than $ 120 to $ 150.

this is my ‘home location’. right down the street from my house and i pass it on the way home from work which can be tempting. it is also in the plaza with my fav seafood place o’brien’s crabhouse. my husband and i often check out the salvation army before or after dinner just for kicks and i usually end up buying something. i always want to buy the retro pyrex cookware that has colored flowers on it but realistically my kitchen is not that big and i have nowhere to store the stuff. but when we get a bigger house/kitchen look out! so for now i opt to buy it as gifts for my friends, that way i can at least visit it :) i once tried to buy an entire set of dishes with little daisies on them but my husband wasn’t going to go for it :( i always walk out of here with at least one thing, usually t-shirts to wear under my scrubs at work. but who can beat a $ 2 t-shirt! i have a DARE t-shirt, transformers t-shirt and a napoleon dynamite ‘my lips hurt real bad’ t-shirt from here which i usually end up wearing as pj’s. this year for halloween i needed a purple skirt for my costume, i found one here for $ 2. yes! be sure to stop in, there is always a bargain to be found.
