Does anyone know why they closed? Used to love this place.

Love the food, service and atmosphere. My favorite dish is the sweet and spicy chicken combo with the imperial rolls. The chocolate monsoon is a must for dessert if you like chocolate mousse like I do! Conveniently located in great lakes crossing so I often catch a movie at the AMC in the mall.

In my opinion, this is one of the worse restaurants to go for if you are expecting good service and decent food in the Auburn Hills area. It has went down hill a lot since the last time I visit the place, and the servers seem to be rushing all the time. I love Asian cuisine, but the food was definitely not cook well either. The only thing that is good about the place is their drinks.

Really-Really BAD Asian food, my shrimp appetizer, was the smallest 4 shrimp with a dry coating of overly toasted coconu, for 8 $… and my friend ordered egg drop soup, never seen it come in a grey colour with egg floating around, we joked it look like it came out of the the yantzee river, in China. However she was a good sport, I wanted to hurl, it was nasty looking. I hurried, and ate 1 more tiney dried shrimp, and left the rest of my friends . I was getting sick, and bad-slow service… Never again…

Recently visited Stir Crazy. It has been a while and I am really bummed! This place has went down hill big time. The waitress was horrible. After we were seated and waited like it seemed forever i started timing her. It took her 5 minutes after probably 5 – 7 minutes before that to greet me. She walked by our table probably 4 – 5 times and didnt say anything. She was sitting back and chatting with the cook for most of the time we were there, so I figured he was more important that her work. When she did finally arrive, she was decent, not mean/not overly friendly. We ordered one steak and one chicken stir fry, an iced tea and ginger ale. I was already irritated so I timed her, she sat back and talked with the cook and it took her 12 minutes to come back. She had two bowls and a hot tea. I said I ordered Iced Tea. It took her 12 minutes to get a hot tea and two bowls? So annoying! We go up and fill our bowls with Veggies and head to the area they cook it. The chef sat there and didnt do anything for a few minutes, but look at us and wait. Finally he prepped the frying pans and grabbed my food. He started it and walked away with my moms sitting there a minute later comes back and takes her. It was like twilight zone in there. He empties her bag leaves half the steak in it and throws it away. It was weird. Why waste it, we paid for it? Finally get food and its sloppy with the thickening sauce. It tasted funky and I was so disappointed. I loved that place. When we got back to table our drinks were there. No Sweetener, I go back to the area where the cooks are and the waitress is there flirting. I said can I have some sweetener and she said I’ll bring it to your table… The look must of said it and the other waitress looked at her like why? She grabbed the caddy one inch from her hand and handed it to me. Too bad I didnt get that waitress. What a bummer. Not worth the food and the tea was not what I ordered. I decided to drink it, because it would prob. take 20 mins to get a new one. She never came back and checked on us, until we were done. I will say she was fast as ever when the bill came got it for us in a minute no joke. Another thing I did not like, was 50% of the tables were dirty and not cleaned when walking in. There were probably 5 tables seated and 15 dirty. We had to sit in the back, because all of the ones up front were dirty. Dont get it… Place was amazing before, when they were the only restaurant or two now there are so many and its gotten worse? Seems like it should of been the other way around. Gave it a 2 over a 1 star, because I have had better experiences there. Normally I would rate it a 1

Food is always good, service always bad. Noticed a person with open long hair in kitchen around food. Wanted to point this out to manager, until we saw it was the manager.

I had previously rated this restaurant quite high but based on my last two visits must revise my ranking. Food was not good… new menu. low quality.new biz model to make more money was obvious. Wife was equally displeased.

One of my favorite places… tai tacos are awesome. Service is always very good and the quality of food is also top notch. The prices could be a little lower, but it’s always full so I guess they know how to price the menu by now. I recommend stir crazy to you I think you’ll like it.

Not bad for a mall restaurant. Asian food in a modern surroundings. Was there on a Saturday night and got seated immediately. The waitress came promptly and took my order. The hot and sour soup was a bit on the sour/vinegar side but still OK. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was also pretty good. The portion was a bit on the small side but it was cooked just right — crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The miso glaze was very light — just enough to enhance the flavor. The accompanying green beans had some sort of bread crumbs on it and it took was good — not overcooked and not al dente — just right!

Food is good. Depending on what you get it may be pricy, but the Seasame Chicken is really good! The Hubs and I will go to GLC just to eat at Stir Crazy… no shopping… just eating. While the food is good, the service has been horrible. It took a while just for someone to greet us at the door this past visit, and we even had people in front of us who left because it took so long. Waitresses the past few visits have forgotten things like to place the order for an app, or brown rice instead of white, spicy instead of mild. Small things, not huge request. But when you are sitting with friends wait for an app(and the server is nowhere to be found to ask) you get a little annoyed. Dinner comes… «Where is our app?» «Oh I forgot. Sorry.» Thanks. It’s a shame too… the food is quite good but with horrible service becoming a main staple on the menu… I think I am going to have to pass in the future.

Yes it is a chain, but screw it, I will say it, I like it. You can create your own stir fry, go mongo style… which I have not tried. I am here to be waited on… I can create my own meals at home… but I can see some allure to it. They have perfect pairs for 8 – 9 bucks… spring roll and a smaller entrée. Comes with white or brown rice for the most part. I always request the thick shanghai noodles instead. I love that it is modern Asian cuisine. Authentic? No. Some Thai, mostly Chinese, I guess if you consider Terayaki chicken Japanese, then yes, they have Japanese. Get the mango or passion fruit spritzer. FREEREFILLSANDTODIEFOR! Highly recommend the Japanese side salad witht he wasabi soy dressing… seriously good. I love that they do not over sauce or orver batter their chicken… nicely done. Yummy apps. Nutty salad, lettuce wraps far superior to PF Changs… Yummy deserts like banana wontons… All around good. Outdoor seating in the summer. Cool décor. Only bad experience I had was carry out… I called ahead, it took forever and did not get my order quite right. They have happy hour specials and kids eat free days too… sit at the bar or grab a booth.

A family favorite and here is why it is better than other build-your-own stir-fry joints(ahem, BDs…). 1. They also have an extensive menu with wonderful options, I don’t know the name of the salad my mom gets, but its bomb. 2. The wait staff actually work and come over and check to see if they can get you anything else. 3. The meat is FRESH! I really dread the other restaurants because they leave all the meat frozen-ish piled high and touching the next meat. 4. Each meal is prepared in your own pan, with no chance of anyone else’s food touching yours. A family favorite, I enjoy Stir Crazy! :)

First, A+ for good service. Our waitress was super helpful and very honest about portion size and amount of food compared to price — I really appreciated that. The décor is a little odd. I appreciate the Asian emphasis, but I could have done without the giant red chop sticks suspended from the ceiling. The menu seems to have a lot of options including a build-your-own-stir-fry option, smaller portions and rice & noodle options. The egg drop soup is interesting… it’s not your typical egg drop soup. It was also quite salty. My Sesame Chicken was good — had a very tasty mango sauce that I’d LOVE the recipe for and I appreciated that the chicken was lightly crispy as opposed to being greasy and coated in excessive breading. I thought the brown rice was comparable to that of PeiWei, and while the meal was good, I can’t say I’d be egging to go back. I also tried some of the Kung Pao noodles from another plate at the table. The Kung Pao eater was happy with the noodles — I’m not really an Asian noodle person so I don’t really have a sound opinion on the quality of the food. If you’re at GLC, it’s not a bad place to stop, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

Was wonderful when it first opened 10 plus years ago. Have been there twice in the past 12 months and things have changed. The choices in the «fill your own bowl» buffet area are fewer and the quality/freshness is iffy. The servers are apathetic at best. The cooks still have some personality. Sorry to say I won’t be back.

After having bad food a Toby Keith’s at Great Lakes Crossing we decided to try Stir Crazy. Let’s put it this way, after eating here I went home and had a frozen Stoffers dinner. The food here was bad… not good. Not hot. The crab wontons were half-way decent. The rest was simply bad. The service was weak. For the excessive prices they charge I think they could afford some decent service at least. I wouldn’t go here again if they were giving food away. I wish we would’ve tried the food court and next time we probably will.

Meh, it was ok, not super awesome. I think they were going for a PF Chang’s kind of thing here but they can’t compete. I got some kind of BBQ Chicken Thai bowl, I was expecting Pad Thai noodles, but these noodles where nowhere near that. They were HUGE and not very tasty. It totally ruined the dish. My bf got the Chicken Fried Rice bowl, I mean how can you go wrong with that. It was good. Not sure if I’d come back here. The waitstaff was good and the atmosphere(for being in a mall) was ok too. It didn’t knock my socks off or anything.
