Torrid

I am a big big fan of this place. Face it, plus size fashion is bacially non existant. They basically want to dress us as old ladies or in a solid color outfit that looks like a sack. BUT not here. Torrid does a great job at giving us some stylish options.
However, you pay for it here… it’s pretty pricey. Dresses range from 40 – 80 bucks… but they are cute. Fishnets are 18.00, but often you can do a b1g1 or b1g1 half off. They frequently have sales and coupons. Love the diva discount. However, I find myslef shopping more and more at forever 21 where dresses are 22 bucks not 80. But other than dresses I prefer Torrid.
Lots of denim options. Casual dresses to prom dresses. Spanks to fishnets. Punck rock to girly frilly and now they are carrying some retro styles. Cute tops… tons of fashion tees… hello kitty heaven!!! I try to buy every hello kitty shirt they put out.
Love, love the boots in the winter… I finally got a pair of wide calf boots! Life changers. But be aware that the smallest they carry is a 7 and its only online.
Cute lingerie… sexy haloween costumes… lots of accessories and jewelry, but not really quality, but cute.

If I am ever at Great Lakes Crossing I stop here. Torrid is the plus sized girls friend for fashionable clothing. It is on the high end in pricing (I spent close to $ 100 on a shirt & pants), but it looks nice. I like the layout of the store & it’s cool that they carry heels up to a size 12. They have lingerie, hosiery, accessories, & the cutest dresses. When I visited this location, the ladies working there had on some of the newer items paired up nicely. My sister ended up trying it own & loved it (a cute vest with a long, maxi tube dress).
I have never had problems with my clothing from here except for my first pair of skinny jeans, which came a loose at the seam after washing them in cold water.
Overall, in the top 3 places I would shop if going out in the evening to a club, event, or hanging with the girls. Just make sure you save up for the trip because you can find alot of cute outfits that you would call a «must have»
