This is for a review for a job that was done on December 23, 2015 for a persistent leaky tub faucet that was getting worse and driving me up the wall. Aardvark Rooter was highly recommended by a friend. That friend called Fred Fazio and mentioned my name. As soon as I called Fred that morning before I could even introduce myself, Fred immediately knew who I was. I called Fred at 10am and he had 2 guys show up by noon. Now that’s service! Especially since it was 2 days before Christmas. Fred told me he would call a half hour prior before his guys would show up. Fred originally called an hour later about 11am but I was out shopping for Christmas dinner. He sent his guys to a job in Seattle first and I received another call from him a half hour later and his guys showed up at noon. I love how Fred kept me updated throughout the whole process. The two gentlemen that showed up were considerate and put some protection on their shoes so they don’t get my carpet dirty. I lead them to my master bathroom and they worked away. Unfortunately. the part that was needed to fix my faucet wasn’t readily available in their truck so they had to go out and purchase it. I was glad they were able to purchase the specific model and only charged me for the part, which was quite a reasonable price… of course including the labor. The guys did a wonderful job fixing my master bath faucet and cleaned up nicely after themselves. I highly recommend Aardvark Rooter!

The bottom line up front — if your job is not a high enough dollar figure, you will get pushed aside and out prioritized for other jobs that are. I highly suggest you find another local plumber who might not be as cheap, but they will keep their commitment when they say they will be there. My story as mentioned above; I had Aardvark come out to provide a bid. Needless to say, they were the cheapest. I hired them to move a gas line from the center island to the wall(about 6ft), replace some old turn off valves under the sink, and replumb the drain from a two sink, to a single drain sink. On our very first appointment date, they emailed saying they have to reschedule because of another job. I was hugely disappointed, for I had already taken the day off. We rescheduled for the following Wednesday. I will say however, they did manage to come out between the original and rescheduled appointment to do part of the job and replace the valves under the sink and the new drain. This took less than an hour and was so easy i’ll do it myself next time. Come Wednesday, they emailed again the day of the appointment to advise that they were not going to be able to make it again and had to reschedule. By this time I was pissed, I had twice taken time off of work and twice they had cancelled on me. Again their excuse was that they were behind on another job… but IMO I believe the reality is that another higher dollar job came along and they pushed mine aside to get that one done first. This is a BS way of doing business and i’ll never use this company again. In conclusion, i hired another company which cost a few hundred dollars more to finish the job. It has now cost me SEVERAL hundreds of dollars more from time lost at work and a higher cost to finish the job, but they came out the first time when they said they would and I can finally cook on the stove after being without one for over a week and a half.

I highly recommend Aardvark Rooter. They came out a couple of times and saved us tons of money — the first time they helped us out in a bind, and advised us to wait on some super expensive work that another company was trying to pressure us into. They gave us a bid that was about HALF of the other company, honored it in the future, and did a super job when they came out. Everything is as promised, and the work was performed on time with no mess. They are polite, informational and decent. Go with these guys and you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve used this company twice– the first time was a fine experience, quick easy job. The next time we needed a plumber we were in a bit of a bind, needing a pipe moved for a window installation that was in progress. The gentleman whom I spoke with on the phone both times was pretty curt and direct both times– fine, I can deal with that. The man who showed up, however, was flat out rude. He knew we were screwed without him and gave us THE most ridiculous price. When we questioned him, he informed us $ 300/hour was his rate. Ridiculous. He proceeded to complain to our window installers the entire time he was in our home about having to work late and blah blah blah. At the end, I showed him a coupon from their own website(clearly printed on there: good on any job, any time) — he refused to accept it. «Not taking a coupon on THIS job» … He re-routed a vent pipe, 1.5 hours, $ 300 dollars. Never. Calling. Again.

Was so pleased with this company! The crew were friendly, honest, and worked efficiently on a number of repairs needed. Regarding one of the repairs, another plumber had told me that he would need to break through the tile wall to repair the problem. The crew from Aardvark were able to fix the problem without having to tear out the tile at all! Also, while I was in another part of the house, I could overhear the respect the crew members had for each other in their conversation, and their sincerity in performing the repairs needed to the best of their abilities. They also would give me heads up on prices, and different options. They never pressured me to get the most expensive fixture available. I am happy to have found this company and would recommend it to anyone for the areas they serve(which is a large area).
