My teenage son was treated by Dr. Richard Martin for a complicated wrist fracture that required pinning. Dr. Martin was very personable, compassionate, and went above and beyond the call of duty in many ways. He was an excellent communicator, engaging my son in the decision making process and answering all of our many questions. Our experience at their outpatient surgery center was outstanding as well. The office staff, medical assistants, nurses and X-​ray technicians were all top notch.

After a terrible experience at the ER on a holiday weekend, I saw Dr. Carlson in the Bonney Lake office for two fractures in my right leg. He was fantastic — making sure I knew my limitations (and telling me he knew I would push the boundaries!). He had me pegged immediately, sending me home with follow-​up instructions that were conservative enough to make sure I heal, but not so conservative I would be sitting around for 6 weeks. As the mother of two boys, and a generally over-​active family, having a orthopedist I can use and recommend is always a great thing.

After five years of intense and every growing knee pain today I had an appointment with Dr. Martin. I was at the end of my rope in pain and depression with limited mobility and ever increasing pain. Dr. Martin read my MRI and discovered after visiting 3 previous orthopedic specialists that I had moderate to severe arthritis He gave me a shot of cortisone which I was dreading but knew I had to bite the bullet. In two weeks I go back for a shot of a new drug that should last six to eight months. Tonight for the first time in several years I am out of pain. Yes in six hours it made that much of a difference. I would highly recommend Dr. Martin and hope to continue to have pain releif with the next treatments. Thanks for the pain relief… I did not think it was possible.

A little out of the way (of everything), but my family has gone here for years for various issues. I in particular had my mysterious wrist issue looked at by one of the extremely nice and knowledgeable doctors, and he gave me both insight into the issue and offered to proceed with more invasive diagnostic measures. I opted out of the MRI with dye injection (eek!) but this place always leaves me with a sense of both caring and knowledgeable staff.
