Auburn Gymnastic Center

I had a bad experience and wasted money on «classes.» I took my son there when he was about 9 months old, with the class thru Auburn Rec. I did not like it because there was absolutely no guideance on what to do. It was definitely not a «class». The teacher just talked to the other staff and expected me to know what to do with my son, I guess. I had no idea what to do so I just stood there waiting, hoping some sort of «class» or coaching or something would start but it never did. I finally asked what we were supposed to do and the teacher said my son could jump on the trampoline. My son could barely walk so I tried to bouce him on the trampoline but my back is really bad so we couldn’t really do that. Eventually the teacher opened the bigger room, turned on music and pulled out some parachute fabric things and the bigger kids flapped it around, but again, my son could not do that since he was so little. I left very dissapointed and frustrated, and I never went back. I asked for a refund because it was not a «class» as advertised and I would not be going back. They said they do not give refunds and there was nothing they could do. It was a complete waste of money — I do not recommend it at all.

I have been a gymnast at Auburn gymnastics center for 3 years at this point, and this review is from my perspective. AGC has great coaching and I have gotten so much encouragement from the coaches. I have grown so much from being a insecure little girl to a confident young woman. They have a great recreational program, and always strive to get better. They want the team kids to have a great relationship together, and do everything that has be done to reach their goal of that relationship. If you are looking for a great gymnastics place for your child Auburn Gymnastics Center is the place to go.

The best gym for kids especially special needs. Really thoughtful instructors.

We LOVE AGC! All three of my kids are in unlimited classes and we are there every day. The staff is wonderful and each teacher is so unique in their strengths and talents. I love that the kids are helped to self-​motivate and positively reinforced for their work. My children have really begun to thrive in their environment and look forward to going each time they have a class…

My daughter has begun gymnastics and competitive cheer during the past year. How lucky I was to find Auburn Gymnastics! Their positive and encouraging attitude has helped give my daughter the confidence to continue pushing her skills to the next level.
We have learned a lot about both sports and will continue for many years. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to give their children a wonderfully heathly experience.
