Auburn Valley Barber Shop

Alright! If no one is going to say it then I will! Auburn Valley Barbershop is the BEST barbershop in Auburn! Period. Dare I say it is the best barbershop in Washington? I don’t know, I will need to visit more barbershops before I make that conclusion but they are up there! I’ve been getting my haircut here since 2012 and they are the only barbershop around that does an old-​school hair cut. I’m talking about shaving your beard with a straight-​edge razor, «lining-​up» your hair line with a razor, and even using the razor to give your fade that extra sharp look. All for a good price! Seriously barbers this good often don’t come cheap. Quality-​wise they are on a similar level as the famous «Art of Shaving» barbershop in Bellevue only without the fancy flair, uppity atmosphere, and expensive price tag at the end of your haircut.
Auburn Valley Barbershop barbers are simply top notch.

I came here for a few years and it was just fine and then this bitchy women bought it and it’s terrible now. She’s rude and lost me for life. I found a much better place anyways.

Small, local barber shop just off of Downtown Auburn. I prefer the older barber shop feel and that’s exactly what you’ll get. It is quality and will take time, so this isn’t the place to come when in a rush; they’ll usually have a game on on the TV that you can enjoy while waiting. The two guys that run it are nice and enjoy what they do.
I am very particular about my cuts and have been disappointed by the mass hair salons/​barber shops. Auburn Valley Barber Shops has yet to disappoint me. You’ll also see signs about donating food to help the needy; they’ll have a box in the shop all the time for you to place goods in!
Last quick note, ensure you have cash! They do NOT take cards. Also, they don’t wash your hair, so if you use products, wash it out ahead of time or, if they can, just comb it out to loosen for cutting.

Stopped in for a trim cause I couldn’t get to my usual spot (Salon Juno, Bellevue.) Have to say I was very happy with my trim. Barber was very friendly, and the time seemed to fly right by. I would be back if I were in the area and in dire need of a trim, as I was that day!
