New to downtown Auburn. Really great food. There was 8 of us all ordering something different and everyone was happy. Sandwiches INCLUDE a side and a Cookie. How often does that happen? Very, very good. Owner Eric made our lunches. What a nice guy.

Love this place! Delicious food for an affordable price. Eric is an established chef in the area, and he has put together some fantastic lunch options. We’ve tried the Broccoli & Almond Soup, the Portuguese Stone Soup, and the Curry Chicken Chowder. All three were full of flavor. We tried a Base Hit sandwich as well. The turkey in it is really good. The pesto mayo he adds was a great touch. And the Dutch Crunch sandwich roll was soft and fresh. We’re looking forward to trying the Knuckle Ball(Albacore Tuna sandwich) and the Change Up(vegetarian sandwich) next time. The complimentary fresh-baked cookie that came with our sandwich was a real treat, too! Great atmosphere, fun décor, and friendly service. And he’ll have local craft beer on tap very soon, so we’ll be visiting often! If you’re looking for a good lunch, you’ll be happy you stopped by Eric’s Home Plate!

Such a cute little place! I have visited about 3 times now and every time the food has been awesome and the service is amazing! Very warm and inviting! This time of year they have a homemade soup daily! So awesome when it is cold outside! Go check them out!

Great food. I had soup and a ½ sandwich which were both delicious. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Cool place to grab a bite to eat in downtown Auburn.
