2UPDATES ORIGINALREVIEW _ I had them come out to bid for repairs. I paid a very healthy deposit down to a nice older salesman named Carl after a walk around and a good sales pitch. Upon install day the service tech Jeremiah, I believe, was really nice and seemed very knowledgable, but didn’t have all the correct equipment onsite to do the install(it was not a typical roofline application) so you may not experience this. After some discussion with both the installer and a nice gent in the office, I felt unsure of using this product as I had major reservations and was concerned it could damage our water proof membranes on the decks, thats a $ 45k mess up so I’d rather not chance it, I already went through replacing it once. I decided to go ahead with the gutter tune up, some additional downspouts, some repairs, and see how things went with the intention in my head to consider the product after seeing how things went after the tuneup and doing more research on my end regarding the membrane and what would effect it. Here is where my problems lies. The office gent had Carl the salesman call me. It seemed to get very pressured almost argumentative and sales based between the two of them. How the product as it as originally described to be installed changed and once it changed so did my mind. I was told there would be a refund I was told by the installer that they should have some numbers together before he left, and they gent in the office seemed to think that it was Carl who would do the numbers, but we have still yet to discuss when or how or how much. Also I was supposed to have a board that had warped from an improper endcap replaced. The installer came back to finish up on Monday, but didn’t fix the wood board. He did say he would return. It is now Wednesday and I had to call to figure out when I was getting the refund from my deposit spoke with Patrick, I believe, and when they were coming to fix the board. I am now waiting for Hal to call me back… So I am just twiddling my thumbs waiting and wondering… Wondering why the sales man didn’t have the education to realize this would be a different type of install requiring a slightly different process and equipment, why that wasn’t explained from the beginning before I signed a contract, and why that equipment wasn’t on the truck the first time. Wondering how many times they will have to come out to get everything completed… Wondering mostly when I am getting my refund. Hmmm I wanted to like everything that was done and the work the tech did was nice… but right now I am in MEH even as nice as they were… depending on if we get all this resolved sooner rather than later I will bump up the stars or lower them… trust me I will let you all know. UPDATE right after I posted this got a call from Jermiah he will be here tomorrow… Also Lana called and I will get the refund check out in the mail Friday… I like them better already… UPDATE2 — I spoke too soon… WHY!!! After that ^^^ convo about them showing up in the am… I get nada… no phone call, no show up… SIGH!!! Exasperation… Despair… Melodramatic pause(sigh) emoji sad face :(
