My father-in-law had shoulder surgery and at the last minute the place he was supposed to get his shoulder cyro wrap(fancy ice pack) from backed out. So we called Hanger that day and they had one available and were willing/able to fit him in, THATDAY! After surgery, my father-in-law wasn’t up to going in for his fitting. So they said we could send in a representative for him, to learn how to use the ice pack. I went in for a 3 o’clock appointment and after I checked in with Jessica and a brief 3 minute wait I was lead back to a clean patient room by Mark. Mark went over how to put on and fit the shoulder wrap. He was very kind and very patiently answered my(silly) questions. He made the whole system understandable, and when he told me to call if I had any questions while caring for my father-in-law, I really believed that he was willing to help me if I needed it. They made a very stressful day a bit easier. Thank you!

After visiting my doctor for a sprained ankle I was given a referral to for an air brace. For being a prosthetic business you would think they would have a handicap friendly door, not the case. I’m just glad I had someone with me to open and hold the door in place. The receptionist(Jessica) was friendly and greeted us. After taking my referral and insurance card she told us that they were short staffed and I would have to be rescheduled for a fitting. She also told me that I could visit another location if I was unable to reschedule. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and made another appointment. I figured an air brace fitting would be time consuming. I returned a couple of days later to be fitted. The waiting time was minimal and I was seen by a specialist named Steve. At first impression he was not a friendly guy and didn’t say much. After a while he warmed up and was very talkative and gave me some alternative remedies to help with the healing process. The fitting didn’t take more than ten minutes so I was very displeased that I was rescheduled during the first visit. The checkout process was pretty simple with no paperwork involved. The following day I received a voice mail. I immediately thought, «oh how nice they are calling to follow-up with me to see how everything is going». I was appalled when I listened to the message. Rather then asking about my well being I was questioned about some missing keys. I immediately felt offended. Why would I take something that didn’t belong to me? And what would I do with said keys? Needless to say this will probably be my first and last visit to this business.
