Shirley is a great photographer and a lot of fun. She took portraits of our family, making us feel comfortable and relaxed with great results. She also helped us choose from the many great photos and we were very happy with our choices. I highly recommend Shirley Borba a professional photographer.

My husband has known Shirley Borba since he had his preschool photos done over 20 years ago. Not only did she do multiple school portraits of him as a young child, but did his senior photos as well! It wasn’t until our son was closing in on his first birthday that we decided it was time to get our first family photos done. We couldn’t think of a better person to get the job done than Shirley! The family photos and individual photos of our son all came out amazing! Now that our son is a little over 2 years old and full of energy, we decided it was time to pay Shirley a visit once again! We chose to get family portraits and individual pictures of our little guy again. We wanted to have the location in a natural outdoor environment and Shirley chose a beautiful spot with multiple choices for all of our pictures. Our son was hesitant at first, but Shirley came to the rescue with her fluffy friend, rocky the raccoon and a few other fun props that our son loved. We just went and picked out our photos from the most recent shoot and it was so hard to choose from all the beautiful pictures Shirley took. Shirley does such amazing work and is so incredibly nice and personable! We will continue to come back over the years and would highly recommend Shirley to anyone looking for top notch photography. Thanks again Shirley!!!

Just finished selecting my sons senior portrait photos and I am so very pleased. Shirley captured that beautiful sparkle in his eyes and that is no easy task. He doesn’t care to have his picture taken and is so serious, but Shirley took the time and got him to loosen up. He looks truly happy and natural. She did my oldest sons portraits 3 years ago and did a beautiful job. Looking forward to her doing our youngest sons portraits in a few more years. Jane B

My husband requested I wait to write a review to see if my feelings about the session changed. They have not. My mother-​in-​law wanted family photos and arranged a session while we were in town around Christmas. My daughter was 6 months old at the time. There were 3 families and my mother-​in-​law for the photos, and Shirley kept saying she wanted to keep the families together. However, she took my 6 month old and had my husband’s sister hold her, rather than her father or I. Shirley wanted to have my husband’s sisters on either side of their mom because they’re identical twins and she liked how it looked but she had seated me on the shortest stool and the baby wasn’t visible when I was holding her. So now we have a family photo where it looks like my sister-​in-​law has a cute baby and I’m just some random person sitting next to them. I can’t even looked at the photo, it will never be displayed in my home and I consider it a massive waste of money. YOU DO NOT SEPARATE AN INFANT FROM HER PARENTS IN A LARGE FAMILY PHOTO. That should be common sense. The individual photo we purchased of our daughter is beautiful, but she’s a cute baby and her dad was standing behind Shirley making the baby laugh, so I really don’t feel like she deserves much credit for having captured a good photo.

Shirley is wonderful. She’s been taking our pictures since the kids were little. Now we’re here for the last of the senior portraits. Thanks Shirley.
