I am super fussy about my hair. 7 years ago Felicia started cutting my hair at The Buzz. At the time I had a very difficult level 1, razors edge, fine lined cut which she perfected better then going to Oak Park Barbers. Now she has evolved to taking the time to thin out my very thick hair and tolerate my obsessive, perfectionist demands. Felicia has gone past than the extra mile with my hair. After having the pick of many stylists which would come to me over the years, she is by far, hands down the A+ best. Felicia is patient, tolerant, fun loving, a good listener, has a positive out look on life, a joy to be around, loves her work and comforting to talk to. You are truly missing out if you are not getting your hair done by her. Felicia is very busy because of the quality of her work. I challenge you to earn her trust as a client. If you are like me and you are particular about your hair, you will love going to her and will continue going back like I have.

Wow, went by for a cut this morning and was disappointed. Felicia was very rude and seemed paranoid. I’ve never walked out on anyone before but did today and will never go back. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I’ve had my hair cut here several time and I have to say its an awesome and unique experience. First off, this shop is run by a gal whose chosen path is one of a barber, not a salon stylist… She specializes in mens cuts and let me tell ya something… This gal is gifted with the sheers! But more than just a talented barber, Felicia is easy to talk to and always has a smile for her customers. She has a long list of regulars who come from near and far to have their hair cut here and for good reason… there is no one in the world like her. She’s closed on Tuesdays n Sundays, but any other day you can expect little to no wait. I would suggest her to any of my friends, she’s a pro and most definitely worth a visit :)

***Ignore the part about this place being closed. Turns out she was just out of town, and there was no signage to explain that. She’s back, and still open!***
I stopped by today, and they appear to be closed down. I used to get my hair cut here a couple of years ago but took to shaving my head so didn’t need a barber. I was pretty bummed, now that I’m growing my hair out again, to find out that it looks as if Felicia is out of business.

I am fairly new to the Auburn area and was looking for a good person to cut my hair. I saw the positive reviews on Kandy’s Barber Shop. All I can say, if they had ten stars Felicia would get them. I am here for the long haul and will continue to use Kandy’s Barber Shop. She is the best!!!

The Shrink with Scissors, the Bartender With no Bar. Felicia’s a chatty person with untold miles of hair, behind her blades, including nose, ear and eyebrow tresses. She’s also open at 4:30 on Saturdays. She clipped my locks excellently. I no longer look like Steven King or one of his characters.

Been going to Kandy’s (which is actually Andy’s) for 8 months. Never had a better haircut. She cuts, styles, and trims whatever is needed, even eyebrows. She has a great comfortable atmosphere, magazines for guys, women, and even a kids section… As a bonus she is really great person who cares about what she’s doing.

Good haircut, good price. She seems to be building a loyal clientele.

Felicia, whose name is apparently NOT Kandy (it’s a long story, and you should ask her about it), is really good with hair. I just walked-​in and only had to wait a minute or two before being served. She gave me a great haircut and some good conversation. She’s super friendly and fun to talk with, and best of all… she doesn’t price gouge! It was only $ 14 for a haircut, whereas most places these days charge $ 20+. So good!
Note: It is cash only, so be prepared for that.
