Jesse will promise everything then make excuses why things aren’t right after he does the work. He said my wheels would «look like new» when he was done but afterwards when there were pretty obvious flaws he claimed the only way to do it «right» would cost even more. More than the $ 600 I already spent!
And after refinishing my wheels I found all 20 lug bolts were way overtorqued and a lug bolt was cross threaded and now will have to have that repaired. Carelessly installing the bolts using an impact wrench is a rookie mistake and now it will cost him.
After some arm twisting trying to convince him he was at fault and responsible for the repairs to my car Jesse agreed to have the damage he did repaired at a local dealer he does work for. While he did agree to pay for the repairs it was not without trying to extort the removal of feedback — these are his exact words from an email: «However, I will give you the benefit of the doubt I have and cover whatever costs are associated with the repair, with the provision you remove all negative reviews posted, and agree not to leave any negative future feedback.» I refused to agree to this condition and he still went ahead with the repairs.
The saga continues. Since he damaged one of the special locking bolts it was necessary for the whole set to be replaced and he supplied a used set to the dealer so they could install it. After they fixed the damaged threads in the wheel hub they installed the bolts Jesse supplied but the ornamental caps would not fit these new bolts — now I am stuck with a $ 70,000 car that has 4 lug bolts covered with caps and one bare bolt on each wheel. Jesse seemed confused when I called him but said he had some caps that «should fit». After two strikes I gave up trying to get him to do this right — I had the old bolt’s threads repaired and reused my old locking bolts. All totaled up about 4+ hours of my time wasted fixing his careless errors.
If you read a recent google review you will see this is not the first time Jesse has damaged a customer’s car. Who knows how many people agreed to remove their negative reviews after he fixed their damage? Anyone who extorts removal of reviews like that should NOT be in business, it is obvious you cannot trust them.
Let’s just say I would NOT recommend Kwicksilver wheel repair to anyone.
And Jesse’s rambling response to my review is full of lies, half-​truths and misleading statements, but I would expect nothing less. The bottom line is this: Kwicksilver says on their website they guarantee their work 100% and they guarantee that a repaired wheel will match the others, neither of which is true. Jesse told me that unless I paid to have all four wheels refinished they would not match each other and when flaws were pointed out in his work instead of standing behind his «guarantee» he tried to get even more money out of me to fix his own mistakes.
The story he tells of «prior refinishing» being the reason my wheels didn’t turn out right just doesn’t add up. Since this incident I contacted the prior owner of the car who bought it new and he told me in no uncertain terms that the wheels had never been refinished previously. Jesse simply makes up «facts» to justify the shortcomings of his work. He ought to stick to doing work for used car dealers — his work is perfect for them but for «car guys» he falls far short.

Jesse did an outstanding job accommodating my schedule and quickly performed the work. The wheels on my wife’s Lexus look brand new! I highly recommend this KwickSilver franchise.

The overall work Jesse delivers to not only myself and to others is just top quality, I can not deny! I have never needed major work to be done on my rims outside of small straightening and balancing as well as ordering additional tires and rims for my car. But I do know that no matter the issue I will have or concern I may face with my car rims, he certainly has the ability and skill to make all that work for my satisfaction. If you are somebody that does need work on your rims or is afraid to put there trust to someone when it comes to rim repair and restoration… Well stop right there, because Jesse is the guy for you!

Jesse (the owner) never showed on our scheduled appointment.
Sounded great on the phone — pleasant… we agreed on a date and time and he never came to do the job. Nor did he call to let me know he couldn’t make it.
I had to call him since he was a no-​show.
I don’t think he cares about his business or customers.
I will use a more reputable business.
