don’t get me wrong, the food is great and when it is not busy, the service is good, but they have lost a lot of business at this company because of their delivery service, again might be because they are so busy, but when they don’t have change and they are late, what are you going to do.

We eat here almost every time I’m in-town and the food never disappoints! The servings are really really big, and service can sometimes be hit or miss. The latest dish I had was the seafood medley over angel hair pasta and it was life-changing delicious. The scallops are also an excellent choice. You can’t really go wrong with the food here — and there’s always enough for leftovers!

Absolutely awesome food. We stopped by on our way to Boston, and this food was just exquisite. Our waitress, Peggy, was so helpful, even giving us suggestions on what to do in Boston. Portions are huge, and we had several leftovers. Filet was cooked perfectly. Stop by and eat at Lasca’s!

Service sucks. I could have read the cookbook, learned Italian, built an oven, and been ready to serve dinner.

The service was fantastic, our waitress was so friendly, and the atmosphere was just what we expected. The portions of food were huge but delicious as well.

The best restaurant in Auburn, now that Daut’s is gone. Well prepared food and decent portions. The prime rib is spot on.

Some of the best food in town. The owners are amazing and know what they are doing. If you want great Italian food, or whatever you could be craving for a nice night out Lasca’s is the place to go. Very casual dress. Always feel like you are a part of the family. Come hungry!

I was a guest at Lasca’s last evening, the first item that was brought it was an Antipasto platter with sliced meats, cheese, roasted peppers, olive tempanade and a Bruschetta topping nice selection, but not a toast point to use with anything. The next course was an Antipasto Salad with the same stuff in it, why would you want the same item twice. I asked the server(Megan) for a wine list, and she said what would you like I know everything on the list I asked her a few questions and she proceeded to give me all the wrong answers. I got the wine list, when they were done taking our order, about 30 minutes later, she then asked me if I was ready to order my wine and I said that I had been ready for 30 minutes! I eventually got my bottle of wine, but it was after about 45 minutes after everything started. I ordered a Pork Chop, which came out raw. I sent it back, waited about 7 minutes, which was enough perhaps for them to microwave the chop to rare, they brought it out and I cut into it in the middle and raw again. The server was going to have them recooked it a third time. I said no, just bring me a meatball. It was large, but full of black pepper, probably to hide the lack of good cheese and beef, I think that perhaps there might be a bit of soy filler in them. My wife got scrod that was flavorless, and three out of five people in the party ordered filet, that was either over cooked or not the way they asked for it. My impression of this restaurant is that they have very large portions of mediocre food and service. The ONLY reason that people could possible return here is because they are so infatuated with the large portions that they can get two meals for the price of one. I personally would like a smaller portion of GOOD food as to a large portion of sub standard food.

Outstanding food and service. I have NEVER left without a box. The chicken parm is amazing. The Alfredo sauce is out of this world. Prime rib is huge and flavorable. The special salads are excellent. Desserts are just ok.

Oh.. . you’re «starving»? I DARE you to try to finish a meal from Lasca’s. THEIRPORTIONSAREHUUUUUGE(Billy Fucillo). And, yes– delicious. Their Eggplant Parmigiana totally lives up to the hype. They are as fast or as relaxed as you want them to be. Drinks are always made perfect to order. I have had countless dinners, family gatherings, and events catered by Lasca’s. My sister and brother-in-law even had their rehearsal dinner here. The décor is old-fashioned, it gives it character. Oh, and you also have lunch, dinner, and maybe even breakfast for the next day– if you are one who fancies Eggplant Parmigiana for breakfast. YUM– 5 Stars for Lasca’s FOSHO.

Amazing! Older building and décor keeps me from giving it a five star. The food is outstanding, portions are massive, staff is wonderful. It is worth going out of your way to try. Hate they stopped serving clams casino, it was a favorite of ours. The food is truly exceptional.

We were new to Auburn and asked a local where a good restaurant was, they directed us to Lasca’s. Although they were very busy being the July 4th weekend, we were seated right away and service was outstanding. We sat on the patio and Megan was our waitress who was very friendly and most accomodating. We were impressed with the long term dedication the family owners have. And they have an excellent take out shop where all their offerings are available.

It’s worth coming to NY for Lascas! Everything is fresh, everything is homemade and everything is amazingly delicious!!! They never disappoint. I had the pasta combination and he had the veal parm. We shared the raspberry chocolate ice cream pie for dessert. One word to describe our dinner: heavenly! Kaylee was our server and she was terrific!

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night after making reservations(which I highly recommend doing). It was very busy but we still got our table in time. For an appetizer we ordered the Broccoli Parmigiana. It was delicious and I’ve never seen anything like it on a menu. We also had side salads and bread which were tasty.(By this time we were feeling pretty full). For our entrees, my husband ordered the steak, my mom got the Chicken Alexis, and I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana. When our food arrived we were in shock. We had read reviews prior to dining here but I guess we didn’t believe just how much food you actually get. Not only were the portions gigantic, but the food tasted good as well(and we had leftovers!). The food arrived in a very timely manner even though the place was packed, and our waitress was very fun and friendly. We’ll definitely go back!

We have been coming to Lasca’s every New Year’s eve for 20 years. We have also come during the year, but NYE is our favorite night. We have tried numerous things on the menu but we go back to our favorites. .the veal parmesan and the prime rib. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The veal meal lasts me several more meals. The prime rib is HUGE. This place has great service and friendly staff.

I have been hearing about Lasca’s for years, ever since I originally moved to the area to go to college, but until a few days ago, I had never bothered to investigate. The outside of the building is sort of plain, and its location amidst strip malls and fast food joints does not promise much in the way of atmosphere. My boyfriend and I were invited for a family dinner last weekend, and I was delighted to find that it lived up to all the buzz I’ve heard for the last decade plus. The inside is surprisingly cozy and intimate considering the number of people the place can hold(based on the enormous and full parking lot, I would guess 150), the waitstaff was pleasant and efficient, and the food was fantastic. I loved the tomato and olive oil mix that came with the bread, and my chicken and shrimp dijon was delicious, not to mention plentiful enough to have again for dinner the next night. I will be back, for certain.

NEVER in my life have I seen bigger portions unless they were«challenge» menu items where you win a tshirt for eating half a cow or 16 lbs of ice cream. I ate dinner, lunch the next day and dinner again from the same entrée. Was able to try a couple apps as well and some wine and all was tasty. Probably super terrible for me, but good Italian. Did not have ANY traditional Italian desserts though… weird!

Personally, I think this place is overrated, but it is sort of a sacred cow to the people of Auburn, so I find myself eating here often. It bothers me that they don’t make fresh pasta. They have decent chicken parm, lasagna, and eggplant parm. Fried calamari and shrimp scampi are the only edible seafoods on the menu. Do not get scallops or any other pan-seared fish– the cooks are terrible at getting a sear and everything comes out gelatinous. The red sauce is great, and the meatballs are great. The alfredo is very bland. Expect huge portions and leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.
