This dentist gave me a partial onlay when it was clear I needed a full crown. A couple years after I received this procedure, it fell off. A little annoyed, but understanding that chewy candy isn’t the best choice… I had it repaired. Just this year it started to feel somewhat loose and unusual. I traveled all the way back home to Auburn from Los Angeles JUST to see her! When I went in to explain to what was wrong she strongly assured me that it was ‘not going anywhere’ and proceeded to charge me $ 300 to tell me so. 2 weeks after her reassurance, the onlay fell off. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME. I now have to shop around for new dentists, get multiple quotes and exams (all other dentists have told me it should have been a crown in the first place), and now have to undergo another painful procedure to correct her mistakes. I’m extremely frustrated because Dr. Markham has been our family dentist for years and I feel nothing but betrayal.
