5 Stars plus! Mike Morin’s is THE trustworthy, honest car repair shop we had been looking for. 15 years later and we still swear by this place! Everything’s fixed right the first time and the staff is excellent. Mike(the owner) and Wendy handle the front desk and will answer any question you have and provide reliable advice. They aren’t out to make a buck at your expense … just out to fix cars right, at a fair price, counting on repeat business, long-term customers, and word-of-mouth for their success. Special Note: my wife feels very comfortable doing business here … they talk with you rather than at you, always at the customer’s level. You can trust Mike Morin’s!

It’s a long-running joke in my family that cars and I just don’t get along. Since getting my first car at seventeen, I’ve been through nearly ten of them. Some have just died, some have been totaled, one even blew up on me. All in all, what does this mean? That I have spent more time than most young women have at the mechanics. Full disclosure: my uncle works here as one of the technicians. So, when I had my first car issue, my dad made an appointment for me here. After all, it’s where our ENTIRE family has their car work done. Nearly two decades later and this is STILL my mechanic(and nearly every one of their technicians has worked on my car). I don’t even live in town anymore; I drive an hour just to come here. Why? It has absolutely nothing to do with loyalty to family. It has to do with trust, excellent customer service, and exceptional quality of workmanship. Which defines how Morin’s operates! I’ve been to other mechanics(remember: I’ve gone through about ten cars in ten years; I’ve had nearly everything done to a car one can). I’ve been talked down to, talked at, talked over, and ignored all together. While I’ll be the first to tell you that I don’t know anything about cars, I do except a certain level of respect, cooperation, and straight-forward information from mechanics, car salesmen, insurance folks, etc. It doesn’t matter who’s servicing my vehicle at Morin’s — they are always wonderful to me when explaining what’s wrong, what I didn’t know is wrong, what I should be worried about, what I shouldn’t be worried about now, and what their suggestion for me is. They’re never salesman-y and they’re never smug. And this isn’t just the way they are with me. I’ve seen technicians(and even the owner) sit right down with customers and have a heart-to-heart with them using terminology that is understandable. And that’s one of the many reasons I love them. They treat EVERYONE like family. They remember small details about every one of their customers, so it never feels like you have to prompt them to remember who you are(or what car you drive). Their pricing is fair and competitive, and their service is above and beyond(if you don’t want to stay at the shop while they fix your car, they’ll drive you back to your house… just because they can!). Other reasons I love Morin’s? Um, free coffee and donuts, and Wi-Fi, too. Meaning — if I don’t want to be brought home — I can squat there for however long it takes for my car to get fixed without missing a couple hours of work. Oh, and Wendy. Wendy is amazing. She is one of my favorite human beings in the entire world. Give her a high-five or a hug or a coffee!
