The slowest delivery possible. Took 90 minutes. And the food isn’t worth the wait. Any other option is better than this.

They have a nice new location(moved across the parking lot), but their food is honestly not very tasty. I’m usually privy to a nice meal of americanized Chinese food, but the two times I’ve been there so far my food has tasted kind of chemical-ish. There are so many menu options, however, that I’m sure most people can find something appealing

Disgusting, not even close to Chinese food. Basically same flavor for every dish, save ur time, don’t bother choosing which one is better. This is the only time fortune cookie is the best part of Chinese meal.

Ok yea you will stick to the floor, the décor sucks and their English sucks… That said the food is volcano hot and I’m pretty sure that burns the germs off. I have been eating here for over 4 years and never had anything less than awesome food. They are friendly and despite always wondering if they heard a phone order right they have never messed up my order. This is by far the best Chinese food in auburn, don’t let the look of the place scare you away!

— New China, my first 1-Star rating… oh boy, where to start? First, they speak very broken English here, the other reviewers have NOT overstated that. Keep it in mind. Second, if you come in during a very slow period of the day, they won’t pay you much attention. Unless of course, you’re the only other person in line, and are picking up a big order. Then you might get some attention. Selective service, you could say. Though, I’ll grant them this: their prices are good. The place is small & quiet. But sadly, those are the only compliments I’ve been able to reach for. I ordered my Chinese restaurant favorite, the General Tso’s Chicken, as I like to do at every Chinese place I go to. It was ice cold. No, not just the chicken itself, but the sauce too. No kick, whatsoever. The white rice? Without soy sauce, it’s pretty much inedible, flavorless mush. The restaurant itself is just as bland, the ceiling tiles a plain white. Though, they’re more gray-colored because of the dust film over them. The table I sat at? Sticky as all get-out… and that’s exactly what I did. I got out. Normally, I’ll push through a dish to the bitter end, tasty or not. But I was afraid I was going to get sick, so I threw that one out and left. I’m normally very generous in my reviews, giving decent scores often and rarely knocking even the most«hole-in-the-wall”-esque places. But this one? I cannot recommend whatsoever. Having worked in restaurants before, I’m surprised the local heath inspector hasn’t come after them yet. It’s just sad because I can tell that they’re nice people and with a good cleaning, along with less timid & more timely service, they could probably wind up being 3-star worthy… but not as it stands when writing this review. ~~~ Happy eating, everybody.

I didn’t actually eat here. I walked in, saw the mold on the ceiling, the dirt on the floors, and the sketchy, low lighting and walked right back out. The food may be incredible but I just couldn’t bring myself to eat here.

Is this Americanized Chinese? Yes Do they speak great English? No Are they friendly? Yes Are the prices good? Yes Would I change a thing? Absolutely not! This has been my go-to Chinese take out in Auburn for about 10 years. I know exactly how to word my order so it’s easily understood by them every time. We always get the large general tsos chicken, no vegetable with white rice and an extra white rice. Great every time, although sometimes it is hotter than others. Same people every time, always very friendly!

The food is very cheap and pretty good. It is not authentic Chinese food for the most part, rather the Americanized version of it(fried dumplings are actually deep fried, most chicken dishes are extremely sweet and breaded, etc.) Very friendly servers who speak below-average English. Service is pretty fast. Go for lunch– their specials are $ 5.50 for a dish, fried rice, and soup.

They hardly speak any English here so if you want to know what traveling to a non-English speaking country is like, this is it. So I’ve been raised on what chow mein should be like and any quick google search would also agree that this consists of noodles and flavor. So when I ordered chow mein, you could imagine my surprise as what I discovered in my dish was celery soup with some pieces of shrimp. I told them that I ordered chow mein and not whatever this was, and they had the most confused look and continued to explain to me this is what chow mein was and that is how it’s always been. I don’t know how a noodle dish became celery soup but I was sad at that point.

One of the biggest things I miss about California is boba /milk tea /bubble tea, so I was SUPER excited to learn that Auburn had it. Everything looked promising — tacky sign in the window advertising Taiwan bubble tea, hole in the wall style and décor, small little asian woman… but wow, the bubble tea is easily THEWORST bubble tea I’ve ever had. Way too much sugar! It was poorly mixed and a lot of it was settled at the bottom of the cup. The tea also had a slightly off putting flavor and tasted artificial. To top it off, the boba was terribly undercooked. I couldn’t even bite through them. The center was as hard as a rock. When I spit them out, they looked like shriveled pieces of dried up rabbit poo. I do have to give props to the male caucasian cashier, who busted out some mandarin when speaking to his boss.
