Found this place by accident, but I got to say, it was a great find. If I remember correctly, it’s one of the oldest cemeteries in Auburn. The land size is big enough for a nice stroll – the trees provide ample shade if the temperature is on the warmer side. What I liked most were the little plaques next to select headstones. They had interesting tidbits about the person(or persons) buried in that area. The cemetery is open from sun up to sun down. Unfortunately, parking is a little tough. I get the feeling that students from the university(which is a stone’s throw away) park their cars around the cemetery and then walk to campus. Nevertheless, once you get a spot there isn’t a meter(etc.), so that’s a nice trade off. I definitely recommend stopping by the cemetery.
