When making an online delivery order you must pay a 2.99 delivery fee AND a 2.00 tip! Shouldn’t a tip be at the customers discretion? The first time I ordered, my salad was great, but I got no fork. I had it delivered on campus so I then had to scramble around the library for a fork. Second order: I ordered the dressing on the side which was put loose in the bag instead of in the salad container. The dressing cup opened and spilled all over the container my salad was in. I had to then clean off the outside thoroughly and got covered in dressing in the process. Also, the salad was half the size of the first one I ordered. It was even put in a smaller container. Im not surprised though. As an adult that moved here from Orlando FL for grad school, I have noticed that EVERYSINGLEFOODESTABLISHMENT provides subpar service. I have yet to get food from a single place without there being some sort of issue. I guess its because its a town of all college students and they feel it is somehow acceptable for employees to offer horrible service and put 0 effort into their job.

The portion size of meat is smaller now. But the price is the same. Business as usual, I guess.

I generally love pita pit. Today they changed my mind. I ordered a buffalo chicken pita to be delivered. After an hour and no pita I called back they said that it was out for delivery and would be arriving shortly. Another 30 minutes passed so I called and told them to cancel the order. The guy on the phone was hesitant but agreed to cancel it and have their dm call me back when he arrived. About 10 min after that phone call the pita arrived. I simply told the driver I had cancelled my order. He told me to keep the pita and left. When the manager called. He didn’t really address the situation. He just stumbled upon his words stating that my order would be cancelled. They said that it was delayed because of a catering order. when caterings are planned and they should have a surplus of staff. The situation was poorly handled and delayed my schedule. It will be awhile before I go back if I do.

Pita Pit is weird, but awesome. If you haven’t been before, the ordering method is a little bit intimidating. There are no rules. I throw out an order, but then the magic happens near the grill. You can pick your meat and veggies, have them cold, or thrown on the grill. You can pick sauces to add on the pita, or have them all cooked in the sauces. It’s crazy. So many options. The people working there are super nice. They just sautee that ish up and stuff that pita full. Freaking good. I go here a lot hungover, because I always feel better after eating it. A pita is enough food, you don’t need the chips. Just go in, feel your way around, throw a bunch of stuff on the grill, and enjoy. Keep doin what you are doin, Pita Pit.

Mediocre chain pita sandwiches. The falafel may have been canned. Skipable. On the plus side, it is open late and close to what looks like a lot of nightlife.

What a fun place with great food! Very authentic and tasty. Owners are gracious. Good for all ages! The tzatzaki sauce was excellent.

Ill start out by saying the owner here is one of the most friendly guys I’ve ever met. He makes you think you’re the only person there and that he will do whatever he can to help you. Really friendly guy. You can customize your pita any way you’d like. I got marinated chicken with some Greek tzatziki sauce. It was really good. Plenty of chicken and vegetable filling. For the prices, it cost 7.00, so slightly more than subway for a comparable amount. But it tasted very fresh and it was a good experience.

Oh STUFFIT! Your PITA, that is. :WiiiNK: Pretty cool concept. Order by what type of pita and the main ingredient/meat, pay for it, and then slide down to get it stuffed. What I really like is at the register side of the counter, there is a list of all possible ingredients and their nutritional facts. It would be great if it was also listed on the other end where you actually pick them out, but I could see how that might back up the line. I chose a turkey pita with spinach, kalamata, cucumbers, green peppers, Italian dressing on a wheat wrap. It was very good and when I added it up, about 500 calories — not bad for the size and the fact that I was full and satisfied. (WAREAGLE!)

If you come here, you have to absolutely order the Greek options they have. I ordered a salad with babaganoosh dressing and tzatziki sauce which absolutely hit the salad craving. You can customize your order in almost any way but since you pay a set amount for this, fill up on as much as you can in the salad or pita you are given. The service here was very helpful too and they were really patient especially when I got all the pronunciations wrong and asked what each item was. I’m glad they have so many locations for this. You feel really healthy after having a meal here which is something you don’t find much of in Auburn. It just sucks that the place is tucked at the end of the downtown area where no one ventures to unless they need to find their car.
