Tasty pizza with a crispy crust and gooey mozzarella. The place can use a remodel, BUT it’s all very clean including the bathrooms. We didn’t have the salad bar which looked very fresh for mid-afternoon on a slow day! Customer service was pleasant and they had sports and news on the TVs. There’s quarter machines and games for the kids along with a change machine.

I’ve been back here many, many times since my initial review. Pizza is always fantastic. I have never had a single bad customer service experience. In fact, quite the opposite. All of the employees have been nothing but friendly and accommodating every time I have ever come in. This place will be a regular stop for as long as I work in Auburn.

My biggest issue with establishment is that I feel they are dishonest in their pricing. I get a coupon in the mail nearly every week and I always have an issue using them at this Pizza Express. Tonight the lady full on lied to me, telling me I had received the«discounted price» on a 13.98 one topping pizza. My husband had got the same pizza last week and was able to use a coupon. The only difference was that he said he had a coupon when he called, and was told that they’d increased the cost of their one-topping pizza. When I called, a week later, I didn’t mention the coupon because I wasn’t sure I’d be able to find it. They gave me a total of $ 30.08, which I would NEVER pay for this pizza(2 pizzas). However, I found my 15% off coupon and went to pick up my pizza. I handed it over, the salesperson took it and then didn’t change the price. When i told her she hadn’t discounted the pizza, she told me that the $ 13.98 was a special price so they didn’t accept coupons on it. I KNEW this wasn’t true because my husband had gotten a discount on the same price the week before. I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau on Monday. I hate bait-and-switch tactics!

I really like this place a lot. I grew up in the 80’s and their pizza reminds me of the stuff I loved as a kid. It seems like the trend with pizza these days is to cut you short on sauce, but not here. I like the taste of their stuff. The cost is a little more, but you get what you pay for. Their Tahitian pizza is like crack to me.

Great pizza-good value. They get a little busy on the weekend for delivery but generally right on time. We like the white sauce w/chicken, bacon, mushroom, sausage, olive and spinach on thin crust. Delish–

I’ve been getting into Unilocal recently and I wanted to share some opinions of the places I go to all the time. I eat at pizza express like once a week(my mom loves it), and it is a reliable pizza joint. The things I like about it: They never charge me more to put jalapenos on my meatball sandwich and they are really personable. Rachel and several others recognize my number when I call and pretty much expect my order. They often ask about my mom and my mom has said they ask her about me. Even though we like to believe that that is a standard in customer service, it doesn’t happen enough and I do appreciate the effort made to make us feel appreciated as customers. I also like that its actually good pizza at a good price(because of their specials), unlike the other overpriced pizza places in the area. The only thing I would ding them on is sometimes the toppings seem to have been thrown on in a rush, like all my jalapenos are in a pile in the middle of my personal pizza. But it all tastes the same! Great price for a meatball sub

Put on hold placing order. Hour and a half delivery quote. Picked up instead. TV blaring above the pickup counter. Sent me home with wrong pizza. Called to complain. Put on hold. Told I couldn’t be heard.(see TV above). When I talked louder. Told not to yell. Not very pleased.

Pizza Express makes great pizza. The problem is, they’ve become a cynical, whiny, rule-ridden, slow-ass, rude employee mess. They no longer accept checks, even if you’ve been writing them checks for 10 years without a hitch. Their delivery times are usually 1−½ hours. If you’re one mile«out of range», you’re screwed. Ask for an over-the-phone discount for being a 10 year customer? NOPE. Even the people answering the phones are rude. I try my best to avoid Round Table Pizza. But I’m running back to them now. Round Table at least understands the concept of customer retention. Bye bye Pizza Express. Wish you the best.

I go here all the time for pizza. When we do want to have pizza this is the place. They are very friendly and accommodating. The prices of their large pizza with one topping is fantastic! The pizza is great!

By far not the worst pizza I have had. The sauce was a little bland but the pizza was very edible. The two employees were very nice as well.

As for taste, the pizza is simply ok. Not bad but not super great. The real problem is last time we called and asked about a special they had offered the week before. The lady on the phone said that we should have a coupon for it but said it was ok, and at the end of placing the order said«that’ll be $ 22» my boyfriend went to pick it up and they charged him $ 42. He said that they lady kept saying«i told her 42, I told her.» with some sassy rude attitude.(We were ordering from there to get the deal… which was clear and wouldn’t have placed the order if it was going to be $ 42). When he got home we called and talked to the lady, she flat out denied telling us it was $ 22 and stood very firm. I would have at least appreciated a better exchange when talking to her– there wasn’t an apology for the misunderstanding if that’s what it was… and she was very reactive, aggressive, and rude to us. That makes me think that she knows she screwed up and decided to bully us instead of admitting it. I work in a restaurant and wouldn’t dream of talking to a customer the way she talked to us– even if the customer was being rude, which we weren’t. Now, for the price of half a can of olives and some dough, they have lost business from us forever.
