Publix

I have always been a big fan of shopping at Publix. Publix has great weekly sale deals and I always stop by, at least once or twice a week. I used to be an «extreme couponer» and out of all the grocery stores that I shopped at, Publix has the best prices and deals.
This particular Publix is about 18 – 20 minutes away from my apartment. There’s another Publix in town, but I rarely go to that one. This Publix is closer to my church and it’s on the main highway (University). I live right across from the Wal-​Mart on College St. So you can see that I do care where I buy my groceries from.
I tend to shop here on Sundays, right after church, since it’s much more convenient for me. It’s prefect timing because I would take my roommate and her friends to mass with me and we would buy groceries afterward. We always start off at the produce section and would often catch the free sample meals that the Publix chef would cook. We absolutely enjoy the delicious offerings, which brightens our day a bit more.
The only thing I would complain about is the feeling of being profiled. Some of the customer service employees would smile and greet me, but occasionally there are some that would welcome me, then give me glares. It’s probably because I used to coupon more back then compare to now, but it still makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. Most Publix employees are very friendly and approachable, there are just a few that I don’t feel the same way about.
Altogether, shopping at Publix is a pleasure!

Publix describes itself as a venue «Where Shopping is a Pleasure®.» Truly a tagline that lives up. I enjoy shopping at the Publix here despite not loving the dreaded chore of grocery shopping. It was incredibly exciting when this Publix opened up as north Auburn was basically a food desert; you’d have to trek out far to get your food supplies.
All the employees are pleasant and smiling, and the store is spotless and spacious. There are often BOGOs and sales so that’s always helpful. Free wifi too! Hooray for Publix!

This Publix just opened not too far from me and I love going there when I can. It is new, clean and the employees are SUPER helpful. Way super helpful.
The manager noticed I was looking around for something and voluntarily helped me find my chick peas. I finally checked out with a bag of chick peas and one onion. I had to insist that I was capable of carrying that to my car and didn’t need any help.
Can’t remember the last time I had such great customer service.
