Serendipity is a neat little shop on historic Sacramento Street in old town Auburn… truly, as the door sign says, a «countrypolitan» store. There’s lots of home décor, gifts, clocks, fans, wall art, cards, candles, a wide range of everything … the inventory feels country, but a polished cozy country instead of a rustic backwoods country :)

Auburn, CA
Ross and Lynn Carpenter have some great items ranging from greeting cards to collectibles to items for your home. Ross is also doing much to help get the old Victorians whipped into shape for the new Medical Museum in Old Town. Thanks, Ross! Anyway, they carry lamps, figurines, dolls and just about anything else you can imagine. They have another business inside called Box Office Candies (yep, the two Pez dispensers on my desk right now are from their place).
