Spring Landscape

I asked for an estimate, was promised one, and never did get it. If they’re too busy for estimates, then they’re too busy to do work for me.

Just had the crew from Spring Landscape leave. This is the 2^nd year we have entrusted our yard to Miguel and crew for a spring cleanup. They once again did not let us down. Reasonably priced for the amount of work done. Mow, edge, blower, weeding, all shrubs trimmed and seeding. Our yard looks like it should be displayed on a Home and Garden show. Fernando was quick to respond to my phone calls and emails. Thanks again!!! Will be recommending to friends and using them again in the fall and spring.

We hired Spring Landscape over a year ago to do some major pruning on a large hedge, they did great work and clean up. We are now selling our house and wanted our yard to be immaculate for the sale. Miguel and crew were able to come in on a Saturday with less than desirable weather and deliver great results for our photos. Fernando is very responsive via email and through Unilocal text. They charge a fair price and you get good value and great results. Our house sold very quickly, in part to the great job Spring Landscape did on the yard cleanup.

I would love to give Fernando and Miguel five stars because the work they completed for us was excellent. We had them come out the beginning of the month and clean all the garden beds, cut back a large section of brush and lay down compost. The crew was very efficient and professional at a reasonable price. This was a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend so they worked with me to get the work done over a weekend while he was out of town.
I also wanted to have all the grass aerated, thatched and seeded but the weather was too wet. Fernando and Miguel said they would give me a separate estimate to complete the work once the weather is dryer. Unfortunately, after contacting them a couple times, I have yet to receive an estimate or schedule to do the additional work.
I would like to continue to work with them to complete the additional work and semi-​annual maintenance but their communication has become extremely poor. I guess once they became busy they forgot about me which is why I am only rating them 3 stars.

When I moved from a town home with no yard to a house with a full front and back plus side yard it was without a lawn mower. Originally I called and spoke to Fernando who called me back immediately, and had Miguel out the same day for a bid. We came to an agreement and set up bi-​weekly service. Originally I was only going to keep the service until I purchased a lawn mower, but after seeing the excellent job that was done every other week, I kept Spring Landscape on throughout the Summer, and Fall and into winter. I have heard the term «no trace left behind» and Miguel and his crew accomplish this to the highest degree. There are never any leaves, grass, sticks, or any trace that the guys have been out, other than my entire yard is in impressive and immaculate order. Fernando is always responsive, and receptive to questions. Miguel and his group do an amazing job. The price for service to me is fair and market value. I have heard there are some places that are somewhat cheaper but for me knowing the quality of work is getting what I pay for. Whether it is for regular service, or a one time job, Spring Landscape is a wise choice for any sort of yard maintenance.

Read the reviews and gave them a shot. Miguel came out and gave me a bid for full yard cleanup. Not cheap, but fair. Three guys came out a few days later, spent one full day and 3 ½ hours the next day hitting every spot in my yard. They were thorough and the price was fair. Not sure what else I could ask for and I didn’t experience any of the problems a couple of the bad reviews did. I plan on using Spring during the summer for edging and detail. Great work!!!

Outstanding service in a timely manner! The team cleaned my flowerbeds, and common areas next to the curbs very nicely. I am new to the area and the previous tenant did not take care of the yard very well with the HOA sending fines frequently. Now that Spring Landscaping has taken care of my yard, I don’t expect any further troubles! My yard looks great now and I look forward already to their next visit.

I bit off far more than I could chew when I bought my first house. After a couple years trying to do it on my own I hired Spring Landscape. Fernando got back to me within 24 hours of my initial request for an estimate. He and Miguel came out shortly after to look around the property and discuss various services. They were totally cool when I told them I was waiting for a couple more estimates before I made my desicion. Both of them were super nice and polite– my yard is not in good shape!
They came out today for the first service and I’m so happy I could scream like a little girl. Or hug them. My yard looks so much better, and they cleaned up everything. For the first night in a long time I can play ball with my dogs and not do any chores.
I was reluctant to pay for landscaping when I feel like I should be doing this work on my own but I’m so happy I did it. These guys are awesome. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaper.

These guys are great. Very easy to communicate with and they do a great job. Every small request we have they see to. We are very pleased!

Just had my lawn aerated, sanded, and fertilized by Spring Landscape. Their price seemed a little high at first, until I saw what an excellent job they and how clean they left the place. I definitely recommend their service to anyone looking for lawn care.

Had them out again for tree & hedge trimming :) they did a wonderful job! Such perfectionists. When they get done, I’m amazed how nice everything looks! Very pleased with there work

We hired Spring Landscape to trim a huge, overgrown hedge in our front yard (more than 10 feet deep and 20 feet tall) and not only did they do a great job of cutting it back and shaping it, but they left zero trace of having been here. There were piles of debris, but when they left, there wasn’t a single leaf left behind. We’re already planning on hiring them again.

We initially hired Spring Landscape to provide yard cleanup in April 2014. We had just moved into a new home and neighborhood and the landscape needed quite a bit of weeding and manicuring. Miguel of Spring Landscape brought his crew and they did a thorough job of clearing overgrown and weed-​covered areas. We were pleased with their work and hired them to provide law care services the rest of the warm season. These services included biweekly mowing, edging and raking of the lawn and shrub/​flower beds. The work was reasonably priced and the people in the company are very pleasant to work with. This company had indeed made our yard look well groomed, a yard I can take pride in as a new member of the neighborhood. I look forward to working with Spring Landscape again next year.

Spring Landscape isn’t an organized company. I suggest you find a different company — one whose staff follows orders from the «office».
I’m still not clear what the arrangement is here. Fernando is the person you’d speak to if you called them, Miguel and his guys are the ones who come out and do the work. Effective communication is this company’s biggest challenge. Let me be clear: I’m dealing with a lawn that’s just under 2,000 square feet, so we’re not dealing with major square footage here.
First, it’s impossible to speak to Fernando. Period. You call and call, he doesn’t ever answer the phone. Yet he’ll text and reply to texts from that same phone number all day long. Sometimes you just need to get on the phone and talk through an issue rather than be stuck in a 160-​character rut; not Fernando. Never answers the phone. That’s the first problem.
Second problem is that Miguel apparently can do whatever he feels, however he feels like it, including what he chooses to charge for service. This is again separate from what Fernando might discuss with you or agree to. Problem.
Third, Miguel and the guys do about a «C» job. Not great, not really «good». They can cut lawns, but they cut them too short and leave debris behind. They can edge, but won’t create neat edges with lawn vs. mulched areas. They just dig a small line. They don’t edge bushes or shrubs consistently — some they’ll do, some they won’t. They won’t clean off dead flowers. Then they came to do shrub work and didn’t bother to do the lawn even though it was part of the service! For the price Miguel wants to charge (over $ 300), the job was absolutely insulting.
Fourth, they’ll tell you that they will put you on a given schedule/​day/​time. Yet Miguel will choose to deviate from that whenever he feels like it. I was supposed to have service on Mondays; Miguel came on Fridays instead a couple of times, one time he just showed up out of the blue on a Tuesday. It’s like, what part of «schedule» is not getting across?
Fifth their website indicates they do a lot more than lawn service. They do NOT do irrigation, they refer you to someone else. They do NOT do trees, that’s another guy/​referral. Things listed on their site that are blatantly false.
I can only assume that «K.K.» is a planted review. Either that or his/​her lawn didn’t really need the service in the first place.
