Springside Inn is a Finger Lakes establishment that is old school great! From the food to the rooms to the Sunday brunch it is an experience not to be missed. Sean Lattimore is a wonderful host.

I was just here for a bridal shower. Food was really good, overnight French toast and the cheese soufflé a must! Staff was very helpful. Lots of cool history on the walls. However, this place is in need of a serious update, and get central air. Overall to expensive for what you get.

Our favorite place to go when we want a nice meal, quiet table and nice atmosphere. The fireplace in winter is cozy and the beet salad I highly recommend. Staff has always been very friendly…

This place wasn’t half bad for a bridal shower. I definitely recommend the overnight French toast… Super crunchy super delicious!!! I’m not understanding the infatuation with the cheese soufflé. Supposedly this is what they’re known for, but I thought it lacked flavor and definitely needed salt. Some parts of this facility need a renovation/makeover. Like the rug on the staircase walking into the facility.

I took my mother to Springside for her birthday and I cannot tell you how disappointed I am both with the service and food quality. We ordered 2 appetizers and it took almost 30 minutes before they were served. The salt & pepper shrimp was excellent however the cheese soufflé was over done… it had a huge crust around the large ramekin edge that was inedible because it probably was left under the heat lamp too long from what I can gather and the rest of the soufflé was just melted cheese that had coagulated. Our entrees were the sirloin steak with fingerling potatoes and the grilled swordfish. The steak was cooked properly however the fingerling potatoes were hard and over cooked liked they had been heated in the microwave. The swordfish was dry as a bone over cooked. The server bragged how the seafood is flown in fresh daily so I was excited to have fresh fish. I wasn’t going to complain however on my way to the restroom I was asked how was everything was and so I had to answer truthfully about the appetizer time and how the fish was over cooked. They gave me another fish which was still over cooked but not as bad as the first one. I gave 3 stars only for the management for damage control and offering complimentary dessert… but then we waited another 15 minutes for a piece of cake. Place wasn’t busy so I don’t understand why such a long wait but as a restaurant owner I would place blame on the server for the wait as I could see he was too busy entertaining his other table in the dining room. I hate to leave a bad review for a place I have fond memories of for high school proms and wedding receptions but it is what it is. Please, if your going to have prices like this on your menu make sure the staff is doing their job properly and the food cooked properly and brought out in a timely manner.

Superb dining in a lovely setting. Too bad in April it was too cool to dine outside. I will greatly look forward to revisiting to dine outside come summer. The roasted beet salad was excellent. Without a doubt, the classic cheese soufflé was the finest to be had ANYWHERE!(Especially complimented with the nice house Pinot Grigio). My taste buds went orgasmic with the chipotle maple grilled pork chop! Our waitress was extremely attentive and the service was quick and complete. Can’t wait to hurry back! This place is an epicurean culinary jewel in the Finger Lakes region. It gives me a great excuse to make a short detour during my frequent journeys along I-90 in central NY.

I accompanied a friend who is looking for a location for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We sampled an assortment of «small plates» rather than ordering separate entrees. The food was extraordinary and quite reasonably priced. The desserts were out of this world and also much less expensive than I expected. What stood out the most, though, was the level of service. Our server was friendly, informative and helpful. My friend explained why we were there, and our server offered suggestions which would be suitable for the upcoming event. He made some additional touches that really added to the overall experience. When outstanding food combines with such excellent service in a comfortable atmosphere, it’s really a special occasion.

Great place for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or other small or large gathering. The inn has the quaint old style feeling and the outside grounds serve as a great setting for wedding pictures. The staff was incredibly flexible in menu choices, table arrangement, and time. Food was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and was always ready to help. Pricing … not bad. I would recommend them for any social engagement.

Went here for a bridal shower and we all had a Saturday brunch that was simply amazing. The choices were very appealing(I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Duck Confit) and beyond satisfying. From presentation and plating skills to the most important element(taste) their menu was an award winner in my book. To top it off, even the price wasn’t as intimidating as you might expect! So I recommend a Saturday brunch here, but they offer so much more than that. The atmosphere is very warn and inviting, this is a great place to have a wedding or special event!

We stayed at the Springside Inn four nights during a 10-day trip to the Finger Lakes, and it was one of the most delightful experiences we’ve ever enjoyed. We had made several previous trips to this area and dined at the Oak & Vine Restaurant at the Inn. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay at the inn this time. We’re so glad we did! Inkeepers Sean and Beth Lattimore — and indeed their entire staff — did an amazing job to make us comfortable and tend to our every need. Our room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable; the food in the restaurant was superb! We’re eating there again tonight, in fact, for our«last meal» in Auburn. If you’re ever near the Finger Lakes region, include this Inn on your itinerary.

I really enjoyed my stay at Springside Inn. It was the first B&B we went to in the Finger Lakes region. Walking in on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was hopping — I didn’t try it, but it seemed quite popular in the region. The gracious hostess brought us a pitcher of ice water and led us to our room. What a gorgeous room! A large king-sized bed, two rocking chairs, and a couch. The décor was just lovely, and the bed was heavenly to sleep on. We were surprised with a bottle of white wine from Dr. Franck’s and two glasses. The TV worked well, and we had all channels. Breakfast(continental) the next morning was adequate — nothing to write home about, but just fine to start the day. They accepted our AAA discount. I would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone for a very comfortable stay at a superb value! :)
