Dropped a Header off for a quick repair. Two weeks later it still had not been started. The best part was, the manager didn’t even care I was upset about how long it was taking. Customer Service is piss poor. You are more likely to get better customer service from the IRS, than from the new management at Stans. At least the IRS returns calls. I will no longer refer anyone to Stans Headers, and certainly wont be going back myself. Save yourself some hassle, and purchase from somewhere else. You will be better off in the long run.

Stan’s is now run by his son; definitely not the same quality of service that they had when run by Stan. The installers there do great work but the new boss is cheap. Wants to squeeze every penny from his customers that he possibly can.
Come back with a problem with their original install and they’ll charge you a «lift fee» even if it’s their fault. Also charge you more than they estimate for jobs. Make them give you a written fixed price quote with detailed description of your new system. I guess he just wants to make a buck and doesn’t care if you come back.

Very friendly, courteous and easy to work with. They showed me exactly what needed to be fixed on my car and made sure I understood. The price was fair and the work was done same day. I I’d definitely go back to Stan’s.

Courteous, quick and they’ve been in existence since 1962!
I had some custom work done on my ’69 Impala and they did a great job, even suggesting cheaper options to save me money! How many shops would do that? Certainly none of the chains (Midas, Walts, etc.)
While I was waiting for them to finish, Stan took me on a guided tour of the workshops, from header construction to installation bays, answered questions and was happy to talk to me.
If you need custom exhaust work, I can’t think of a better place. Maybe not the most convenient if you’re in Seattle, but well worth the extra effort to get there.
