Worth the drive to Auburn, it’s my favorite. Try the Sushido roll for sure, it’s insane! Double Shrimp is another favorite… my goodness, they’re all fantastic. Just find your way here and enjoy! You can’t beat the lunch specials and they even let you order half rolls! It’s just awesome sushi all the way around, killer miso soup too.

We have been a couple of times for lunch, and we stopped in tonight for take-out. It’s very small, cozy, clean, and they make excellent use of their space. It’s functional and nice to look at. The food is delicious and appropriately priced. The portions are good, very generous. The staff is very polite and welcoming. We live across the street and will definitely be back!

Really great food. Great service. I’ve been here 3 times now and it’s consistently good. My favorite is the monkey brains. Gotta try it.

GREATFOOD! The bento selection is excellent and portion is just right. The quality of their raw fish taste very fresh. The staff is also FRIENDLY. They also have brown rice option for the sushi rolls – my wife’s favorite. Highly RECOMMENDED!

In the past month, my bf and I have been here 3 times. We live 10 minutes away, and sushi is one of our favorites. We randomly decided to eat here after looking up sushi nearby, and found Sushido. Their sushi is amaaaazing. I love everything about it! I can’t wait to try others on the menu, but I LOVE the alligator roll and sex-on-the-beach roll. My bf loves their lion king roll and Mariners roll. Yummmmm. Great service, fresh sushi, and good prices. We always leave happy. :-)

Good reviews on Unilocal made me try this cozy place out with my daughter one evening. Prompt service, decent menu, fresh sushi. We especially liked the added touch of REALFIRE to the Fire Sushi Roll… that was fun.

Not mind blowing, but good solid sushi. Everything is fresh, service is good/fast and friendly. About as good as it gets in the Auburn area for sushi. My go-to place.

This place is located in the auburn downtown(just 10 minutes from Lakeland hills) it’s a small area with parallel parking(we came after 6 pm so no 2hr limit like the mornings). The place is very small and first thing we noticed is the bright reddish light that made me wonder… how does anyone see what they’re actually eating? I guess it won’t matter if you’re colorblind. I wanted to try their sushi here & since I wasn’t too hungry I wanted to sample just a few. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, spider roll & dragon roll. Your server will give you a paper to write which rolls you like(standard in most Japanese sushi places). The prices are okay, they are broken down into 4pcs so in a way if you go elsewhere the prices are comparable to places that would serve you about 6−8pcs that’s about $ 10(here they start around 4.99−5.50 for 4pcs). The spicy tuna roll was too spicy, is it just me or was it just too spicy to keep eating? Luckily my hubby likes spicy. The spider roll was dry and it tasted more like imitation crab in between maybe my palate was going bad either way it was okay. Dragon roll had a lot of sauce on top making it taste more like mayo(ish). I gave this place 3 stars for its quick service and affordable prices. If you’re nearby this would be a quick bite for sushi just not a dinner first date moment. And the red lights made it hard to see properly.

Simply put, this is one of my favorite sushi places in town. The whole menu is delicious and they offer a really good lunch special where you get a sushi roll, choice of Terriyaki and salad. The only down side is they raise prices few month ago. I would recommend this place.

The best salmon sashimi/nigiri ever. Just melts in your mouth. The sushi tastes authentic, and they have a variety of Americanized rolls to suit every palate. The service is amazing and the staff is super friendly. This place is a gem and I recommend it to all sushi lovers!

I Unilocaled to find a sushi place close to where I was staying and came across Sushido. It wasn’t busy at all when I got there, but nice and quiet, which was what appealed to me. They deliver free edamame and miso soup to you as soon as you are seated. Nice touch! The soup was delicious. Well made. I ordered three different dinner rolls. I liked the fact that they had dinner roll sizes(4 pieces) so that you could try more rolls that way. If I had one complaint about the rolls, it was that they were not packed tight enough and the rice fell apart a bit as I was dipping in my wasabi and soy sauce. When they fall apart like that, the roll is a little too large for one bit. Just my pet peeve. The flavor was great though :)

I rarely give 5 Star’s unless it is something that is totally unexpected, and costs me a b%¶ load. This place for the money did exceed my expectations, for which I was grateful. My wife and I had a great meal of two suschi rolls and the poke salad. With drinks and being totally satisfied with tip it was under 40.00. And that included a 20% tip. Looking forward to taking friends.

The only bad thing I have to say is the large amount of sauce they put on the sushi. I think they mostly use it for presentation though. Other then that everything was delicious. My favorite thing about my meal tonight was the sauce for the poke salad, it was the best sauce I’ve ever had AND they have avocado in the salad sooo good. The servers are young but very professional. Usually when I go to sushi place I never get checked on but they constantly were there asking me how everything was and bringing me everything I needed. I may have to become a regular.

Best sushi in Auburn as far as I know but not amazing or anything. I still eat here fairly regularly when I don’t want to leave A-town. The salmon has always been fresh and well prepared and the service is average. My girlfriend thinks the food is a little too salty though.

Definitely my favorite sushi joint in Auburn. Located in downtown Auburn, there are plenty of street parking. I came here for lunch special with my boy and our meal costed us $ 10.50 and we got two rolls, complementary two miso soups, and edamame. Alaskan roll was awesome and my boy enjoyed his salmon roll. He was amazed by the huge chunk of salmon in his roll. I do suggest though you avoid rolls with cream cheese because if I recall correctly, they put a big piece of cream cheese in it which is definitely not good for you. Overall, customer service is great here as well. Sushi is always getting better too. I know because I tried this place several times over the years since it opened and their sushi is getting lesser mushier and has better flavor. I suggest you give this a try!

This is my go-to lunch place — if I can’t decide… there’s always Sushido. The lunch special is great…2 rolls for $ 10…amazing. And it is acceptable rolls. Not the best but hits the spot. It’s a small place so don’t expect Nobu style place or Nobu style sushi… its family owned. But hits the spot whenever I crave sushi. My go to rolls are Yummy Yummy and the Alaskan. Keep up the great job!

Last time I went back here everything seems so rushed. I ordered teriyaki and it was cold. Tried to get the waitresses attention like 4 times and couldn’t do it until it was time to leave. That and I looked at some of the meat and it was kind of weird looking. Like someone had used some cheap cut of meat. I could see what looked like where a bone was in the meat and it was this little hole in the there. I was kind of grossed out by the whole thing.

The prices are pretty good and the service is usually very prompt and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms tidy. :) the sushi made fast and we’d give it a grade B+ the gyoza were amazing! Crispy and tender gyoza, excellent filling. The negatives would be the small portion of edamame that is brought to your table, only 5 pieces. Either a full portion to enjoy(considering 2 people share 5 little a damage pods fair) or don’t serve it at all. Edamame are cheap. The shrimp tempura taste off, the oil was old. Just leaves you with a yucky after taste. All of our rolls that were fried had a overwhelmingly yucky taste associated with the breading. As well as the tempura shrimp. We ate dinner around 6pm on a monday.

Went here for the first time! And I love it should’ve came by sooner. It’s street parking so parking might be a little difficult to find. It’s a small place so don’t expect to show up with a big party group and have a place to sit. I love how creative the names for the sushi are and how friendly the staff is! I love that it’s fresh ingredients so don’t expect them to be fast this ain’t no conveyor belt sushi place. We order about maybe 8 different kind of sushi and the time that it came out was pretty good. Maybe that’s because we were the only ones in there because it was closing time haha. But the fact that they were closing up they didn’t rush us to finish eating. They kept reminding us that we can take our time and we didn’t need to rush. I love that! I will be back to try more sushi

This place looks like a dive from the outside, but the inside is cozy and decent. The menu was honestly overwhelming. They had probably close to 75 different types of sushi rolls. It honestly was confusing because a roll might have 15 ingredients, but then there would be a roll below it on the menu that had 14 of the same ingredients. It basically took us forever to place our order due to all the choices and many sounding similar. Anyway, a lot of the rolls had«interesting» names. «The playboy», «The playgirl», «A three-way» and so on. Embarrassingly one of the rolls I wanted was called the«John Holmes Roll». Upon the roll coming out I understood why. It was shaped like a giant… ummmm…a giant man’s part… I’ll just say that. And the top was covered with white sauce. Holy dirty sushi! It made me laugh, but families be warned that you might not want to let your kids read the menu. Despite the weird sushi names the food was actually pretty dang good though!
